I’m really surprised that there’s a Home Depot in Manhattan!
I thought they only existed out here in the ‘burbs.

I never did hear that term, but yes, there is a twinge of “Interior Decoration” in those stores. So yes, that does make sense.

>"they seem to charge EXACTLY the same prices as they do here in Texas"They damn sure don't pay the same! At least Blows doesn't. Had a damn Yankee move down to La. was gettin 20$+ ph, while most management were at 8.5-10.

Theyve hidden his face in the photo, but no mistaking the dreadlocks, or the wrists and hands.

It’s not that Home Depot is gay, it’s that gay guys love to renovate houses and flip them. Sometimes they even live in the houses they renovate! That’s where the nickname came from.

Or maybe this was a lovers' quarrel. Here's pix of Calvin 'Kirk' Esdaile, the perp from Daily Mail:
The victim doesn't look that strange. See all at the Daily Mail, which is always 'way ahead of the rest of the press in these types of cases.

Saw a few answers but nobody mentioned Eataly, at 24th and Fifth, sort of catty corner from the Flatiron Building, which was once the tallest building in NYC. Eataly has all sorts of Italian food specialty shops inside and all different levels of restaurants.
Sorry about the victim. If the shooter had stopped for a nice sandwich and a glass of wine he might have gone home instead of shooting his boss.
To: Calvin Locke
eh, more Big Boxes on IIRC Sixth Avenue.
