One of my great grandfather’s cousins volunteered to fight the Germans in 1941, at the age of 68. has desperate as they were russians said to him, “grandpa, go home.” he had fought in World War 1, which war started when he was 41, and he insisted that he would fight ends this work. Finally, they made him a driver for a general since he already knew how to handle small arms. Later that year, he saved the general from drowning by dragging him halfway across a big river after the Luftwaffe shot the bridge out from under them. Don’t mess with some geezers, they will rip out your heart and eat it in front of your eyes.

Dear god, these Uke stories are almost carbon copies of WWII red army stuff. It’s kind of funny really because they don’t even know how it looks elsewhere. Are they printing up the old posters too?
