MUCH appreciated and much needed. There is progress - at a slow rate and that is hard. Had some folks in this morning to pray the Rosary and Divine Mercy.
The BP and temperature are getting right and the hope is that additional treatment will continue to take her in the right direction. She is sedated to help her body without the distraction of consciousness. I am talking and singing to her and occasionally see a little response. I have related what is happening on the thread.
Thank you ALL.
Don’t forget to eat!
God bless you, don-o. :) You GO, man! Blessings to you and our Mrs. Don-o. Ain't nothing going to stop us now. :)
“I am talking and singing to her...”
Dear Lord, please keep watch over this good man, and his lady love.
Chaplet of Divine Mercy for Mrs. Don-o tonight.
The BP and temperature are getting right
That's good to hear.
My prayers continue for Mrs. Don-o and for you and your family, too.
Continued prayers.
Tell Mrs. Don-o that I am praying for her every day.
If she doesn’t remember me, I am the one who makes Pope jokes. (innocuous ones.)
She would like to know about my Pope nutcracker that I received for Christmas from my very devout daughter-in-law.
He is 18” tall, hand-carved in Germany, and is in full regalia, right down to the red shoes. Every time Pope Francis says something I disagree with, I stick a pin into his miter.
Thanks for the updates on Mrs. Don-o.
If you think of it, tell her we’re praying for her recovery.
I had a run-in with MRSA just over two years ago that put me in the hospital in about as bad shape. I was in for two weeks and (I found out later from mr. mm) that they told him they were doing the best they could but didn’t make any promises.
My heart truly goes out to her for what she’s going through and I will be praying diligently for her.
I just became aware of this thread. I am so sorry she is so ill. Praying for you both.
Peace,
SR
Tell her hi from me. And God bless you both.
Father god,
We are so thankful for your abiding care of Mrs. D over these past days, and your guiding assistance to the medical team caring for her.
Help her to rest Lord, especially when she struggles not to, and as her body defenses come into play that she realize resting helps these to work all the better.
Thank you for what you are doing now and will be doing on her behalf in the hours and days ahead...and may your Great Name be high and lifted up throughout this time.
In Jesus Almighty and Powerful Name...
Amen
I’ll be praying for Mrs. Don-o at the Spanish Mass today. Perhaps, like St. Clare on her sickbed, she’ll be able to hear us ... maybe even in tune and keeping time ;-).
Just heard this news and have begun asking God for her complete recovery and that His Name be glorified in her.
