Ford did it. They actually went and did it. It's been rumored about and speculated on for months, but now we know it's real.
This is it: the new Ford GT. Ford just dropped a bomb on the rest of the world, and it's got a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, if you can believe it.
I do like the styling though. World class, even if a little radical for Ford.
Eco-boost?
They’re running scared of the climatophobians.
I dub it the Orwell.
Ah, er—no thanks. The new design is just too weird for me.
I have no idea .... Wonder if the likes of a Jay Leno will be there?
I don’t know of many millionaires who are car collectors.
It’s going to to quite an auction. I’m sure record-setting. Ron Pratte’s all-American entrepreneur success story is wonderful.
Ford want to race it at Le Mans and engine size limit is something around 3.5 liters.
Still a F-O-R-D.
1, how much, 2, how’s the fuel economy? Auto insurance on a buggy like this isn’t of concern, it’s always too much.
looks like a 1974 Road and Track vision of what a 2015 car would look like
Yeah, a tiny 600Hp V6...
Today’s V6 can be pretty strong. The F-150 with the Turbocharged V6 has a 12,000 lb towing capacity.

The engine size limitation for Le Mans went away last year.
http://www.autoblog.com/2012/06/17/le-mans-rule-changes-for-2014-announced-engine-restrictions-eas/
“The limitations of cylinders, restrictors and turbo pressures are removed.”
Before you get ideas of this turning into a Group B for Le Mans, the cars will be limited to an “energy allotment” per lap. A fuel meter will allow a diesel-powered car 3.99 liters per lap, a gas-powered car would get 4.95 liters per lap, from tanks that are about 12 percent smaller.
That certainly inspires an engineering challenge.
I know safety limitations will never allow a return to the run what ya brung rules of the past in any kind of racing.
I've loved them ever since seeing one in the movie "Gumball Rally" as a teen
my second favorite was the 66 batmobile....there are some guys repopping those for about 100k ea
Then I find

I guess that was only for the Grand Touring Challenge division.
At least that's my "old school" way of thinking.
One of the guys at our stables pulled their living quarters horse trailer (with 3 horses) for a couple years with one. I'm convinced.
That is so beautiful.
Once upon a time in America.
Twin Paxton’s and a freak’n 3 spd. Automatic!
$5.5 mil was the sold price, I think.
