Well done, Sharpton/Obama/Blasio. Well done. You're going to make life worse and less secure for inner-city blacks.

Certain other unions have suggested that they might not support the police unions in this. I hope they have their jobsite security set. BTT

The mayor’s responsible for the arrest for not paying city cigarette taxes. Less regulations, taxes, and government control? Sounds good to me.

This is a nice mix of unions vs. blacks vs. ultraliberal politicians. Let them fight it out.

The officer knows he has a dangerous job. But it becomes doubly dangerous if his bosses don’t have his back and he fears to defend himself.

“Not worth it...”

Well, at least he is stating the obvious - that it’s all about money.

You don’t see cops quitting en masse, so it’s “worth it” to have a taxpayer-funded pay check, it’s simply not enough to do the job as previously agreed.

This is a work slowdown, plain and simple. It will stop when they get more money, not one moment sooner.

This is a result of the trickle down immorality coming from our leaders in Washington. I can sympathize with the sentiment.

If nobody is arrested in Washington for things that just 8 years ago were crimes, then why should the people on Main Street be arrested for the petty things they do?

That's the root cause of the thinking, anyway.

“citywide summons issued this past week numbered just 2,128, compared to 26,512 a week earlier.”

…that blows my mind! And only one in the area where the cops were shot. This news will encourage another Furguson. “Death Wish lll” with Charles Bronson comes to mind.

I do not blame the officers. Now, anarchy reigns. It is not a nation of laws. It is enclaves of strongmen. No thin blue line separates law-abiding from the lawless. It is every man for himself.

Just saw a couple of libs (one a defense lawyer) saying not arresting petty criminals is a good thing. I tried to follow their reasoning, but they lost me.

Deconstruction of the civil society is right out of the left-wing playbook. Dismantling the traditional family, traditional family values, and law and order are a big part of this process.

Bloomberg’s stop and frisk program had nothing to do with the “broken windows” police theory.

That theory was based upon the premise that you stop criminals from progressing to bigger crime by pursuing then when they commit small crimes - like breaking windows or not paying at the subway.

The subjects of Bloomberg’s stop and frisk program had committed no actual crime to justify constant contact with the police. It was unjust and harassing. It’s giving the valid broken glass theory, a bad name.

The time is becoming more and more ripe for that
“national security force”, staffed by Progressive saints, to replace the “racist, bigoted, bullying” police departments all over the country.

(Would you like brown or black shirts with that?)

IMHO

Well done, Sharpton/Obama/Blasio.

You left out Holder and Obama. This race war is being instigated from the top.
