Okay. I love seeing my favorite bands in concert. The older I get, the less I get out to shows. It would be great if concerts started at 4pm, instead of 10pm. That said, here is my short list.
Elbow
Jeff Tweedy
Bonnie Prince Billy
EmmyLou Harris
Hiss Golden Messenger
Robbie Fulks
Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch and Fats Kaplan
Robbie Fulks -- I'll Trade You Money For Wine
It would also be great if they weren’t on a weekday and didn’t cost at least $150.
There is no professional live entertainment in my area. I did have to Owls in a tree outside my house though.
I didn’t attend any concerts/performances in 2014. I offered to take my wife to the symphony but she said she would rather wait until we could go to one in Europe.
None.
I’m so cheap I downloaded a bunch of songs from YouTube I converted to .mp3 and burned to CD for use in my car. I got to listen to some artists who are now dead and others where the group has broken up.
Seriously, I wouldn’t waste my time or my money trying to listen to anyone live, not when I can hear the studio version over and over again at my own convenience with a front row seat whenever I wanted.
Jason Isbell. Killer show.
It sounds like you would not go to a Black Sabbath concert even if it was at 12:00 on a Saturday.
There are a couple of Great Horned Owls in my area. Their ‘whoooo whoooo’ calls are melancholy yet surprisingly annoying at 2am. LOL Sometimes I hear them fly over when they shriek.. Scary call when in flight!
I like this band a lot.

Clutch at the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville NJ last night.
The Kansas City Ballet/Orchestra The Nutcracker
Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour
All well worth the price of Admission.
AWESOME!
Let’s see, Young Dubliners twice. Nils Lofrgen (2 days after the Dubs), Social Distortion (2 days after Nils, that was a good week). Ian Anderson. Dr John. The Straits. Good year, though I decided Phoenix has gotten too far away, so there will be less of those and they’ll include a hotel.
And for 2015 Uriah Heep and Zappa Plays Zappa are already on my ticket nail.
I took my 8 year-old daughter to the local symphony for Dvorak’s Symphony #9.
She fell asleep. But, it was good.
Uriah Heep is touring? I saw them back in the mid 70s. Awesome.
In America no less. They mostly stick to Europe these days. Cheap too, at least the Tucson show.
My sister and Uncle love his music
Is that the place near the old Keebler plant? I think it was off of Jernee Mill Road. I use to go to a place called the Hunka Bunka ballroom back in the 90’s.
Jason Aldean
Luke Bryan
Little Big Town
Jeff Dunham
Uriah Heep? I saw them at the Schaefer Music Festival in Central Park. Had to be 74?
