Both my teams are in Colts (AFC) and the Pack (NFC). Hoping the week off allows Rodgers to recover a bit.
teams with first round bye:
Denver
New England
Seattle
Green Bay
The ‘wildcard’ designation does seem quirky, considering:
Dallas 12-4
Green Bay 12-4
Seattle 12-4
New England 12-4
Denver 12-4
Was he the one who stepped on Rogers’ leg first with one foot and then with the other, grinding the cleats in?
That was despicable. And amazingly, none of the refs even saw it.
He and the center for DEEETROIT are the most fined players in the NFL. Both of them will not play for DEETROIT next year.
I would say that Suh might fit in with Oakland.
Ugh a home game for Dallas. That worries me.
Definitely. Also it was said yesterday during the Patriots game (on radio) that had Buffalo beaten Oakland, they would have been playing for a playoff spot with a win yesterday.
Maybe there are tiebreakers like record vs. division opponents etc. Indeed same records but some teams got the byes.
Rootin for the Cowboys.
The crew chief for the refs need to go to each bench, and inform the coaches that they are playing on “our” field, and that any foul play like the Lions have become famous for, will result in the ejection of the players committing the foul.
These little sneaky acts like Suh committed yesterday need to stop. Those like Suh and Rialto dont care getting a fine..but if they get hoisted out of the game it might sink in to play good hard football.
END OF STORY.

I wish someone would pop the *&^t out of Suh. I was waiting for someone to do it yesterday. And I’m not even a Packers fan. Maybe someone from Dallas will do it.
Watching it..he knew he was on the leg. He then lifts up to put full pressure on it. That is what makes it look bad. 307 pounds on a leg, lucky he didnt break it. Bet that would have made the creep feel good about himself.
Investigation into the Lions organization is in order. They might have the same BS going on like the Saints had a few years ago. I wonder if the owners have a bounty system in place for crap like this.
Trust me, I’m no Suh fan but if you look closely at this, Rodgers leg moves back a couple feet after the inadvertent heel step. With his back turned, I’m not sure he would know exactly where and which leg was back there. With that said, he should have at least apologized or helped him up.
Seriously dude, Oakland? I think if you were more current on dirty play, you would be pointing your finger at Denver more than Oakland. That’s after Detroit of course....lol
Dont know about Denver, but Oakland has that reputation...you know? It follows the team for years after they earn it.
Detroit now has that reputation, and it will follow them for years to come.
I wouldnt fine or suspend Suh, but I would investigate the Lions organization to see if they might have the type of bounty system in there like the Saints had a couple years ago.
As for Suh and the team, they better watch out because the league WILL commit the refs to enforce penalties against the Lions for so much as farting when they play the Cowboys next week.
That, is the result of such play. Penalties in playoff
games, is a killer.
He needs to be suspended for the entire playoffs. This guy has such a bad history of incidents that every time he does something the punishment should grow.
Detroit fans aren't a big group in DFW, and the fair weather Dallas fans will be paying big bucks to ticket brokers to get tickets.
