The Richard Roeper review sums up everything America now represents globally...

"The Interview sticks to the anything-for-a-laugh plan for nearly the entire journey, with far too many jokes about things going in and coming out of rear ends."

It is a typical Seth Rogen movie. Lots of sophomoric scatological humor. If you like Seth Rogen movies, you’ll like this one. If you don’t, you won’t. It’s just a silly comedy. It’s not meant to be a documentary.

I think the author meant how many of you accidentally clicked a link and discovered that it was The Interview and watched a few seconds to see what it was then started puking in disgust at what you were seeing...

I went to see The Gambler at the cinema complex. The parking lot was just about full before the first Christmas day showing. So I guess the theaters did not suffer from The Interview not being shown.

FWIW, I thought The Gambler is a good movie about the slide to total destruction as a precursor to redemption. It had a lot of good, quick social commentary, too. The critics didn't give it terrific reviews.

I predict that Sony’s next move, supported by the movie industry, MPAA, and Obama, will be to root out and threaten with prosecution everyone that downloaded and watched a pirated movie. That it was a bad movie or that everyone else was doing it is no defense to stealing the movie. Sony will want their $6 and damages, even more so when they can drag it out of conservatives who otherwise profess high moral standards. Yes, I suspect a setup so if you did download and watch a pirated version, I sure hope you enjoyed it.

The movie is one star at best. I wouldn’t waste my time, much less any cash.
