I have no sound on my computer (windows 7) any longer except for the windows dings. When I go to youtube, etc - there is no sound anymore. I have tried to figure out what is going on but no luck. Would really appreciate some help. Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I’m sitting in the office waiting making myself available to a client that may or may not call...
...do you know how to navigate to the Sounds console in Control Panel?

I hope you find the answer; I have had the same problem from time to time.

Bottom left corner of every Youtube video is an independent volume control... try that.

Try changing the device. Go to control panel-—>sounds, then look at the device it is using.

I had that happen to me a couple times, and on both occasions shutting it down (completely) and starting it again worked. I have no idea why. Have you tried that? If you have, sorry, but I don't have any other suggestion.

Check your speakers to be sure that they are turned on. (Click the loudspeaker symbol in your start menu)
If that fails, go to your windows set up menu and turn the speakers on.

Doh...You have a virus.
Should have used PC-Matic— Now with Supershield!

Yes, loose speaker connections are also a possibility.
