There are many willing to join the military to fight the radical Jihadists, this includes all ages. Here's someone we came across and heard his perspective. With further adieu, I give you Tony Rose.
"I am over 60 and the Armed Forces thinks Im too old to track down terrorists. You cant be older than 42 to join the military. Theyve got the whole thing backwards."
"Instead of sending 18-year olds off to fight, they ought to take us old guys. You shouldnt be able to join a military unit until youre at least 35". The rest of Tony's military perspective here.
Yes, but why send young men who have their lives before them? Why not send old men who have lived their lives? Maybe it wouldn’t work in hand-to-hand combat, but high-tech warfare doesn’t depend upon physical prowess.
Yes, yes, we must keep this civil and only allow 3-5 year olds at first. We can keep the toddlers in reserve in case things get out of hand.
I’m not joining anything, but can guarantee if push comes to shove I will defend Texas. Like most of the male gunloving population.
I’m 67. Can still shoot straight. As can my 89 year old father. He is still amazing on that.
I’m retired...but stay in good shape...I know for a fact that many of us have a lot to offer in terms of tangible and intangible benefits.
There are things I miss about wearing the uniform and things I don’t...
These old fuds want to go and fight for ø?
That’s me....:o)
