Sheesh! Talk about a cheap shot.
If former New Mexico governor and Clinton cabinet member Bill Richardson dislikes Jeb Bush, at least criticize him for something plausible. Instead, Richardson took a cheap shot at Jeb Bush on Meet The Press today for supposedly having a poor ability to speak Spanish. Really, Bill? Because the video below of Bush speaking Spanish during an interview with Univision's Jorge Ramos clearly demonstrates a high degree of fluency in that language.

If Jeb is so fluent in spanish, perhaps he should run for President of the Berlitz language schools, because he’s not getting the RNC nomination.
According to the thread below, he speaks only Spanish at home:
Which Potential Candidates Speak Spanishand Will It Matter? (Bush speaks only Spanish at home)

I think Bush speaks Spanish at home, so I’d say he’s probably pretty fluent. His wife is Mexican born, so he probably conforms to her accent (meaning it’s not Cuban, the dominant Florida accent).
I don’t know how Richardson speaks Spanish or how much, but this is ridiculous.
Bush was an excellent governor, but if he got elected president, I think he’d be weak against the Democrats and too busy “reaching across the aisle” to accomplish anything. Just like his brother.
Hillary’s irregulars are already seeking appointments.
My wife is from Venezuela so we speak three languages at home: English, Spanish, and Spanglish. For example we call toilet paper "papel de tush." Oh, and there is almost no papel de tush to be found nowadays in Venezuela.
Richardson gets on these shows because he’s nice. Nice & dumb.
He’s fluent in Spanish and Open Borders. The former is fine the latter not so much.
In fact Jeb’s Spanish is so good I think he should be named ambassador to Cuba. :-)
My sentiments exactly...he was perfect for Tallahassee but is totally unsuited for the presidency. One of the nicest people you'd ever care to meet, but just isn't right for the job he is seeking.
Makes one wonder how well Richardson spoke Korean, when he took his propaganda tour, on board U.S.S. Pueblo :(
I don’t care for Bush as a presidential candidate, but I know fluency when I hear it...and he’s fluent in Spanish.
I think we should encourage the two of them to settle their differences in a tiny basement with flamethrowers.
As I have said, a liberal is someone who would never let the truth get in the way of his agenda, ditto Richardson.
I always wondered why a brilliant genius man of the world like Baraq Obaama didn’t have any foreign language skills. Did the MSM ever query him on that subject?
Agreed. He’s actually very personable and a good speaker, much less nervous that W, but he’s just too much of a “gentleman” to fight back against attacks.
Incidentally, when Bush tried to get the bill passed to save Terri Schiavo, it was defeated by a true RINO, Jim King, a fat Brooklyn-born Floridian representing Jacksonville, who was President of the Florida State Senate at the time. But Bush wasn’t even strong enough to fight back against King, so I certainly don’t think he’d be good on dealing with Dems.

Thanks for the train to Santa Fe and the Spaceport
nobody’s using either one but the lights are on and its costing us money
I can’t say that in Spanish and Ive been around New Mexico a while...
English is completely superior to Spanish as a language.. in every way..
Spanish sounds good, but isn’t..
Very witty! I wouldn’t care about the last name, personally, if I thought he’d be a good president...but I don’t. And his approval of Common Core sealed that. He disapproved of it first, but obviously changed in response to leftist teacher pressure.
