OK, please take this in the humorous spirit that it was meant.
But let's face it, "Johnny Football" should go back to leading the aerobics classes.
And also, we must also face it that Tebow was just OK in a league that needs great out of the gate (watching Manziel EXACTLY reminds me of Tebow).
Tebow opens Hospital in Philippines What did you manage to do today?
Tebow opens Hospital in Philippines What did you manage to do today?
What does that have to do with his on-field antics?
Good for him. I managed to continue to support 2 children through Childcare and support many other charities.
I don’t walk down the hallway in my office and genuflect whenever my paycheck registers the deduction.
And I am paid a lot less what Tebow is paid so I think the analogy is pretty apt — the difference being I am much better than mediocre in my field.
How about you? Putting your money where you keyboard is?
Tebow has the same amount of Super Bowl rings that Payton Manning has...
Manning has 1.
But he never beat the Gators.
>>Tebow has the same amount of Super Bowl rings that Payton Manning has.<<
Tim Tebow has a Super Bowl ring? When did he get it?
Peyton Manning got his when he was MVP of Super Bowl XLI over the Chicago Bears.
I must have missed Tebow’s win — was he water boy or something?
Can you post a pic of Tebow’s?
>>Tebow has the same amount of Super Bowl rings that Payton Manning has...<<
And, since you made me feel pissy, it is “number” not “amount.” In proper English grammar, the word “number” (and its corollary “few/er”) represents items that can be counted individually. The word “amount” is used when the item being described cannot be discreetly discerned: “I have a large amount of of incorrect knowledge. The number of Super Bowl wins for Peyton Manning is one. The number of times I have been correct on this subject is zero. The number of times I spelled his name correctly is also zero.”
See the difference?
I can:
Post in haste, repent at leisure.
Especially here.. and FR has a loooooong memory lol!
“See the difference?”
Yes.
Your explanation AMOUNTS to nitpicking.

And I had a NUMBER of nits to pick :)
LOL
Elaborate please.
>>Elaborate please<<
Many players will give a small prayer or something, but it always seemed like Tebow was making a HUGE dramatic prayerful move when anything good happened.
It just stuck me as more play-acting than actual reverence.
That is why I said it was irritating — and became more of an issue than the fact he can’t play the position at a professional level.
I agree. Too much pride. And he’s not willing to convert to TE in NFL.
>>I agree. Too much pride. And hes not willing to convert to TE in NFL.<<
I assume you mean Tight End and not Transcendental Evangelist...
;) :)
There’s a BIG difference between Tebow and Manziel: Tebow consistently threw the ball into the feet of his receivers and Manziel threw the ball above the heads of his receivers.
You seem insulted by his antics, I just gave you another opportunity to be insulted.
