Now all we need is Lorde to sing the theme song and not Lana Del Rey...

"Yeah, couldn’t you see that Han Solo and Indiana Jones were exactly the same character?"

- Do not forget that Sean Connery played Harrison Ford's father in one "Indy" flick.

What other movie is Harrison Ford associated with?

- but neither has/had the raw physicality of Daniel Craig in his action scenes.

- Roger Moore's 007 films started when he was 48 years old - he made a lot of Bond films - Connery needed to stay in better shape and get along better with Broccoli as Roger Moore did. (shut up, work, and take the money and run - it's a job)

I thought the same thing when I read the headline. He had better stick with it.
He hasn’t had a hit other than bond.
Look at Harrison Ford and Michael Meyer.

Had to go back to their one trick ponies.

.

- Rare 007 movie cars in 1/18th scale :

- On Her Majesty’s Secret Service - Red Cougar w/black HT - add the hood scoop from a ‘70 Mustang 429 fastback

- Goldeneye - Red Ferrari F355 GTS - UT but “nearly unobtainium” - Cut a Targa Top from a F355 GT Coupe (yellow or black is available as a UT F355 GTS in 1/18 but expensive to re-paint red)

- You Only Live Twice - White Toyota GT cabrio - AUTOart very RARE but out there

- The Spy Who Loved Me - White LOTUS Esprit (rolling - not the submarine scene) AUTOart - RARE but out there

Here is the thing, EON owns the rights to the movies purchased from Fleming, therefore they are the official canon. NSNA was Kevin McClory’s after 10 years had pasted of the release of Thunderball. Let’s be serious.

Three. He played Jack Ryan twice.
One could argue that he doesn't have a ton of range as an actor, but his filmography is ridiculous. Aside from the franchises already mentioned, he was in American Graffiti, Witness, Working Girl, Air Force One, The Fugitive. Also had small roles in Apocalypse Now and The Conversation.

"Also, would have been a truer fit to the role, having been a Lt. Col. in the British Commandoes during WWII."

Ironically, as a young lieutenant out of Sandhurst, Niven was posted to Malta where he became friends with Roy Urquhart, who would later be portrayed in, "A Bridge Too Far," by....

...Sean Connery.

“That’s a Smith and Wesson and you’ve had your six.” This is the true Bond, a killer.

Original appearance of “Q”, the Armourer, Major Boothroyd. He’s actually based on a real life firearms expert, Geoffrey Boothroyd (see link below video below). We all like “Q” as played by Desmond Llewelyn, but he was never a comic character. Incidentally, Connery (the best Bond, and by long odds) and Fleming regarded From Russia With Love the best Bond film. I happen to agree with that assessment. And Daniela Bianchi is my favorite Bond girl. I think that fight scene in From Russia With Love one of the best fight scenes ever, a fight to the death from the get go!.
