Needless to say, I'll probably never do it again.
Same here. I shaved it off 25 years ago the morning I was headed out for a 10 day hunt trip. Mrs. Doomonyou was not amused. Kids went nuts. Been packing it ever since. A little more grey in it these days.
I sold the old place 3 yrs ago after my brother died, I think the “slot” was covered up when I had the bathroom re-habbed prior to selling.
Those blades will be locked in until the bulldozer comes some day.
Tell me about it. My mustache is still salt and pepper, but my beard's gone almost snow white. Don't know what I'd look like if I grew that out. Probably get more strange looks from the family .. LOL
Then I guess mine is salt and cayenne pepper.

Technically speaking, putting aside the emotions involved; the best way I’ve found, for blade users, is to first shave with an electric clipper, or the trimmer on a rotary type electric, then use your blade to get the closer shave you want. My opinion only, but it’s worked for me several times.
The Japanese Feathers are ~ 30-cents a blade....and the absolute sharpest blade available.
Put down the milk carton and wipe with the back of your left hand...
