Theres concern this morning that a pregnant American corn snake is on the loose in Queensland, Australia, and a search is being mounted to find it before she gives birth.
Sunshine Coast snake catcher Ritchie Gilbert told Business Insider he was sent a number of photos from a local vet to help identify the snake on Wednesday ...
He said while the snake isnt venomous it does need to be located. Like rabbits or cane toads, introduced species can throw the natural environment off balance, causing problems for native wildlife and agriculture ...

“But of course in this case its going to go straight for the koalas and other slow moving native species.”
You think a Corn Snake is going to kill a Koala? They eat rats and mice.
Corn Snakes eat rodents. Not very likely to get out of hand. If they reduce the prey population the snake population will follow. Snake reproduction is far slower than that of its potential prey.
The word is SNIKE.
Kawnsnike, Mite.
This is a snike, Mite.

“Australia Is Terrified That This American Snake Could Give Birth In The Wild”
I haven’t heard of Hillary having any plans to visit, but maybe I missed something.
You need to look up the rabbit proof fence they had in Australia
“The State Barrier Fence of Western Australia,[1] formerly known as the Rabbit Proof Fence, the State Vermin Fence, and the Emu Fence, is a pest-exclusion fence constructed between 1901 and 1907 to keep rabbits and other agricultural pests, from the east, out of Western Australian pastoral areas.”
If koalas can live with carpet pythons, a bitty corn snake will not be a problem
