Exactly. I have no patience for those who decide guilt or innocence based on their political leanings - including some FReepers. Unless one really believes a dozen women are lying it appears Cosby had one heck of a problem.
You do understand that his guilt or innocence is not predicated on his politics?
That said, I have changed my mind on this. I think he used women, many of them young. I think he paid them off to keep silent. Frankly it sounds a lot closer to prostitution than to rape. Shame on the parents as much as on Cosby.
When you are rich and famous you can buy anything. My sympathies to his wife more than to the bought women. Clearly they have regrets now that the money is long gone.

To a certain extent I agree with you. Deciding guilt or innocence on politics is engaging in lazy thinking, which is not good.
But CARING... that's a different story.
It's hard for me to care if an Obola supporter is unjustly accused of something... in the same way that it's hard for me to care if a hardened criminal is unjustly accused of committing a specific crime on a specific day.
If the stories/rumors/hints are true, Bill might find himself in a dark alley between Lou Ferrigno and Jason Momoa. Now that I would pay to watch...
Regarding Lisa Bonet, Cosby said that her nude scenes in the movie “Fallen Angel” were shot solely because white America demanded it. This kind of thinking, coupled with his role in the Tawana Brawley hoax, cancelled his ticket in my home years ago.
