Meanwhile in South Africa... a self respecting burglar soils himself when he encounters the most brutal dog he has ever seen.
Update: This awesome dog is called Scamp and you will happy to know that the perp was caught a short while later and justice has been served.

My friend had an Akita. Its a large dog breed in Japan to guard royalty and monasteries. It has one unusual trait, it doesnt bark until after it attacks.

Yorkies have been described as 7 pound dogs with 100 pound attitudes. My 2 sure live up to that description.
Yorkie “Prissy” is 3 1/2 pounds. During the day, she knows when someone is approaching the house and goes nuts barking a warning to us. At night, if she hears something outside, it’s a different bark that says “I’m going to kill you.”
LOL, reminds me of the time a door-to-door salesman rang our doorbell and Jezebel ran to the door barking. She rarely barks except when someone knocks or rings the bell, and her bark is LOUD and DEEP.
I went to the door and didn’t see anyone, and called hubby to check it out — we couldn’t see anyone anywhere. Finally this guy came out from the other side of the house next door, and says he ran because of the bark that he heard — from the Yorkie in my arms.
I love terriers and their attitude, they are so enthusiastic and up for anything. I’ve had Yorkies for years, and always thought that one day I would get a larger terrier, perhaps a Jack Russell, a Cairn, Border terrier, etc. Jezebel ended up being a genetic throw-back to the time when Yorkies where larger and she’s a lean 15 lbs of spunk and enthusiasm, so I got my larger terrier.
Her temperament is that of a true terrier. She’s friendly and loves every human and dog she meets but afraid of nothing, everything rolls off her back. When another dog isn’t nice to her, she doesn’t escalate but isn’t afraid, either. She LOVES hunting and being outdoors and is very independent and not at all clingy (she HATES laps or being carried). When we board her, the lady that owns the business can’t get over how she adjusts instantly and has a great time. The world is a wonderful place and it’s all hers! We refer to her as “Yorkzilla.”
Sounds like a great dog. I love little dogs with big spirits.
He sleeps in a small cat bed next to me on my bed at night. He is extremely protective of me especially when I am sleeping. He has leaped off the bed Rin-Tin-Tin fashion and chased down noises he hears at night. He is so loyal and loving!
