PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A local woman is the latest of more than a dozen women to accuse comedian Bill Cosby of being a sexual predator.
Renita Chaney Hill, 47, tells KDKA reporter Ralph Iannotti she was a 15-year-old model and aspiring actress when she first met Cosby back in the 1980s.
He was in Pittsburgh looking for performers to appear in his educational television segments “Picture Pages,” which filmed in the city. Hill’s modeling agency recommended her and she got the job.
She says she was star struck.
“Promises of bright lights and fame. That’s where I thought I was headed, that’s what everyone who knew me thought I was headed,” Hill told Iannotti.
Her appearance in Cosby’s videos was the start of a four-year, on-again, off-again relationship with the actor.
“He would fly me to a number of cities,” including New York and Atlanta she remembers. “He would be busy during the day, then I’d come to his hotel room at night,” she said.
Hill says when she was alone with Cosby the scenario was always the same. Cosby would insist she have a drink even though she was underage. She says she now believes she was drugged.
“One time, I remember just before I passed out, I remember him kissing and touching me and I remember the taste of his cigar on his breath, and I didn’t like it,” Hill said. “I remember another time when I woke up in my bed the next day and he was leaving, he mentioned you should probably lose a little weight. I thought that odd, how would he know that?”
Hill says after a while she began to put two and two together.
“I always thought it was odd that after I had this drink I would end up in my bed the next morning and I wouldn’t remember anything,” Hill said.
She says she doesn’t know if she was raped because she was unconscious.
“It just felt weird to me, and I remember being in high school saying to him, ‘I’ll come see you, but I don’t want to drink because it makes me feel funny,’” Hill said. “And he would tell me that if I didn’t drink, I couldn’t come see him.”
When she was 19, Hill says she decided to have no further contact with Cosby, even though she says he was paying her college tuition and her family had accepted what appeared to them to be a father-like mentoring relationship. She says she also gave up her dream of becoming an actress.
“It was just a horrifying feeling thinking that as a part of your dream you felt like this was something you had to endure,” Hill said. “And that’s why I couldn’t do it anymore, and I just walked away.”
Hill says her family, including her husband and three daughters, were aware of her experience. She never told her story publicly, but after hearing Cosby’s attorney criticize the other women who have recently accused Cosby of sexual assault or misconduct, she decided to come forward.
She makes no apologies for waiting more than three decades to tell her story.
“No one wants to be associated with something like this,” said Hill. “But the bottom line for me is that no one has the right to violate someone else, no matter who they are. I don’t care how big they are or how the community sees them, it’s not right.”
When asked what she would say to Cosby if given the chance.
“You know, I thought about that over the years. Why would you do that to a young girl? Being Bill Cosby, you could have had anyone. You didn’t have to do that to a young girl,” Hill said.
Possible but logic tells us she is telling the truth. If it were just her alone that would be one thing but there is no way too have a dozen plus women decide to conspire together or separately on totally made up stories.
I think he is toast. Statute of limitations is not going to protect this guy from prosecution forever. There are exceptions and not every state has them. At some point a prosecutor is going to bring charges and many of these women will likely testify.
“Dang, man, there’s like sixteen of these women who have come forward, all telling stories that involve the same pattern of Cosby’s behavior and mode of operation.”
He’s been around Hollywood for almost 50 years and has definitely met well over 10,000 aspiring starlets around that age. 16 of those actresses lying and telling a typical date-rape story to get a pay-day isn’t a stretch at all.
I don’t believe it for the following reasons:
-If it happened that many times, there would have been at least 1 piece of physical evidence or something unique they corroborated about Cosby.
-No girl that isn’t mentally handicapped is going to a man’s hotel room for “mentoring”. If anything, they were star-struck and it was consensual. Maybe 1 dumb girl would actually believe it but not 16+.
-Cosby was rich and famous enough to have a stable of willing, beautiful women at the snap of a finger (which is what I believe these girls were doing). He had enough money to hire more top callgirls than he could handle for the rest of his life. Why in the hell would he drug/rape girls within his social circle and risk everything?
There will be, just give it time. DNA will be found.

But it still feels like a Herman Cain thing to me. The Left hates him, but has something on him or somebody wants some cash (he has reportedly previously paid at least one of these women in a cash settlement).
The man is innocent until proven guilty. I’ll hope for the best.

And where were their parents or friends when they found out that the girls were waking up in some man’s bed?
You labeled her an "ex playboy bunny" even though she was underage. Do you have a source for your accusation against Renita Chaney Hill ?
IMHO, some of the claims are legit.
Some of them are looking for fame and fortune now.
The one in this article repeatedly took airline flights to meet Bill Cosby and went to his hotel room.
If she didn't 'know' what was going on, she was the only one. Everyone else seemed to know. Especially her 'agent'.
What an odious statement. I think the preponderance of the evidence makes the suspicion that Cosby is a serial rapist far more likely than not, and you make a statement like that. Shame on you.
With all these episodes, I’m wondering why there’s not yet any indication of what drug and who supplied them to Cosby, and any pregnancies.
I also wonder if these claims are finally getting traction in 2014, what would have been the result if the Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick claims had come to light today instead of 1998.

I clicked on the same story from Drudge or Fox News — don’t remember which — and that’s where I read it.

Cosby stayed at the Playboy mansions for weeks at a time over several decades, all while married.
I believe that is where he picked up his taste for young aspiring-model types.
Past his 40s, the Playboy mansion would not suit his new wholesome “father of the year” persona, so I believe he took up “mentoring” would-be actresses, gained their trust, and drugged them.
He even did this in his own home. One girl said she was invited to Cosby’s house to shoot pool. (She had grown up playing pool.) Cosby, a male pal, Cosby’s wife, and the girl.
One at a time the 4th and 3rd wheels departed for bed or for home. Once the pal left (without the girl knowing he was gone) Cosby attacked her.
Just one of the MANY stories now coming out.
I think not. I think you just bore false witness against this woman to defame her in an attempt to defend Cosby. Clinton's minions did the same.
Is this a “me too” thing
That was my first thought, too. What parent allows their 15-year-old daughter to fly all over the country and spend nights with a grown, non-related man?
Lots of these stories don't pass the sniff test. "I was a 30-year-old model, and Bill Cosby invited me to his hotel room for a late nightcap, and I woke up the next morning sexually assaulted." Methinks the ladies doth protest too much. Timing is interesting too - he's been ruffling a lot of feathers in the black / democrat communities with some of his recent speaking engagements.
But, if the stories turn out to be accurate, he needs the book thrown at him. I just look at them with a skeptical eye...."Innocent until proven guilty".
I am not saying he has never done anything bad and some of these, if not all, maybe true. But, there are people on here wanting him done, through, finished! TV stations are yanking his shows and people are suggesting that people stop going to see “this rapist’s shows.”
I believe in giving the man a chance to defend himself, before I demand that he loose his entire livelihood!
There are people on here that still think that Michael Vick shouldn’t be back in the NFL. I say that he did his time, he paid his fines/fees, so why not let the man live his life?
If Cosby is guilty, and that is proven in a court of law, then I agree with all of those statements above - shun him, shame him, and ignore him. But just because someone is accused, even by several people, that doesn’t make them guilty and it doesn’t mean that we should treat him as guilty neither.
That might explain why the media are covering this now, but why not five years ago, or ten, when Cosby began to criticize popular black culture.
It doesn’t explain why it is white women coming forward.
“Consorting with the enemy” is not the same as “drugging and raping the enemy.”
There are a lot of black people, and a lot of liberals, who cannot believe a white woman’s rape accusation against a black man. It falls into the “southern rape narrative” where all accusations must have been either falsely made by a consenting woman, or falsely made by a lynching mob.
There are some people who will manage to believe simultaneously, “All those woman are lying,” and “Good on him. He got even for years of sexual abuse of black women and false accusations against black men.”
I did click on the story elsewhere. But I also read the story about Hulk’s wife. Turns out Hulk’s wife was the playboy bunny. I apologize.
This woman took an awful lot of freebees from Cosby through the years. I did not find her credible either. Rape victims don’t stay friends with their rapists and receive tuition and things like that.
I am not inclined to believe a bunch of charges for actions that cannot be proved and that happened years ago. If they wanted to be believed they should have said something when it happened and acted like a victim rather than a charity case. If you are raped but you say nothing because you want financial benefits from the person then what does that say about you?
I just do not favor trial by media on charges from years ago. Reminds me of the Clarence Thomas hearings.
Just like Martin Luther King, who was said to be everything from a womanizer to a commie sympathizer. The message was still valid.
