There have been actors that have made people laugh since the days of Charlie Chaplin. We all have our favorites whether it's John Candy is or Robin Williams. Who do you think are the three funniest actors of all time?
Cary Grant
WC Fields
Steve Martin
Bill Murray
Jack Nicholson
Buster Keaton
Robin Williams
Zero Mostel
LOL. I remember them, but they are a little before my time. However, they are classic.
200+ replies and no one mentioned Andy Kaufman?
Wonderful movie.
I’ve heard that Cagney did not like making that movie. He was not comfortable with the fast pace and was not a natural comedian.
But he pulled it off beautifully.
Finally,

And the Dean Martin roasts were epic beyond belief.

My dad was the town drunk. Most of the time that’s not so bad; but New York City?
I haven't seen The great Race since a little child. I need to pull that one off of Hulu or NetFlix and let my children see it. I hope it makes them laugh as hard as I remember laughing back then.
I see Jim Carrey as a modern day Jerry Lewis. Great physical humor.
Fred Allen
Good stuff! The man was a master at his craft.
It amazes me how much the physical comedy destroyed Lewis’s body, but he still outlived most of his peers.
Saw him on Fallon a few eels ago. Now showing some real physical deterioration.
I saw an interview in which he described the back injuries from just jumping into the air and taking a fall.
weeks
I would add Airplane
I've no idea who any of those people are.
No..Victor Borge was from Denmark, or Sweden, Oscar was from New York City. I don’t think they even knew each other.
I just through him out as I had not seen his name listed.
