ANAHEIM ANGELS bump!, screw LA, their team is called the Dodgers.
Bob Cerv was one of those unlucky players who could’ve been a big star, but for some reason was a sub for most of his career.
You could well be right, although - as an Angels' fan - I hope he stays with the Angels after his 6 year contract ends.
Could understand him wanted to go back east as he is from New Jersey.

An old Senators fan makes a deal with the devil to be transformed into young superstar Joe Hardy to play for his beloved Senators to beat the Yankees for the pennant.
But it turns out the devil is a Yankees fan, and plans to have the Senators lose the pennant to the Yankees on the last day of the season, and then have Joe Hardy traded to the Yankees.

I didn’t know that. Interesting. I do remember that the sportswriters didn’t like him; he didn’t think giving interviews was part of his job description.
