President, VP May Differ on Immigration Strategy: 'Obama Angrily Cut Biden Off'
The Weekly Standard ^ | Nov 9, 2014 | Daniel Halper

President Obama and Vice President Biden might not see eye-to-eye on immigration strategy. A hint of an apparent disagreement was on display during Obama's lunch with congressional leaders on Friday at the White House.

"The meeting was tense at times, according to a senior House Republican aide. The aide was not authorized to describe the back-and-forth publicly by name and spoke only on condition of anonymity," the Associated Press reports.

"Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, about to lose his grip on the upper chamber, barely said a word. The aide said at one point as House Speaker John Boehner was making an argument on immigration, Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said."

I thought that prayer to the One and only God was no longer allowed in public places.

Who were they praying to?

“Nixon came to his senses politically when a delegation of Republican legislators, including Goldwater, went to the White House. It’s not going to work with this hyper ideological, anti American, anti Constitution POS.”

Agree - Zero will never step down voluntarily even with his party awakening to the ruin he is causing them.

However, this petulant display can be seen as good news - he is becoming more public in his showing of narcissistic and sociopathic behaviours. The more it becomes obvious that he is not simply ignoring what he doesn’t want to hear, but that he is totally out of touch with reality, the easier it will become for Democrat leadership to coalesce to the solution - invoke the 25th amendment clause 4.

His narcissism is clouding any ability for him to reason, surely a majority of his cabinet could come together with Biden and declare him “unable to discharge the powers and duties of the Office....” While he would immediately send his “written declaration that no inability exists” the VP and a “majority of the principal officers of the executive department” (Cabinet) could within four days confirm that the “President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” and let Congress “decide the issue” by a 2/3 vote of both houses.

Much has been written about the mental state of Obama - and even the press is now questioning his inability to grasp the rejection of his policies (and him personally). It may take an open meltdown of some sort to confirm his mental and emotional inability to function as President - and this snap at Biden is a start - but as Democrats are themselves ready to revolt rather than find themselves totally eviscerated at the next election, they may find the 25th amendment their way out.

Some will argue that this section of the amendment was only intended to deal with physical incapacity such as by stroke or heart attack - but clearly there was an intent that mental problems where the President would try to argue he is not incapacitated while others see that he is was clearly contemplated - thus the second round and decision by the Congress in an expedited fashion being provided for. Howard Baker was given a memo when he became chief of staff suggesting the 25th amendment should be invoked to remove Reagan from office after Iran-Contra due to psychological issues, laziness, ... - all of which have been fully exhibited by Obama. Baker and others observed Reagan and found the allegations meritless - has anyone prepared such a memo regarding the current resident of the Whitehouse.

Quicker and cleaner than impeachment, keeps their policies above the fray, and simply takes out what has only become a liability for the next two years. Yes, we’ll have to deal with Biden as President - but he can’t do nearly the damage to the Democratic party that Obama is doing - so if there are rational minds they ultimately will consider their options.

He is getting more intransigent as time goes by which has to panic some of the Democrats. The immediate future may hinge on the fact that his hatred is focused on his domestic enemies and he has some support among progressives in that. Our international enemies are gaining strength hourly. Despite some setbacks, ISIS is gaining strength in Africa as well as the Middle East. Russia is taking advantage as much as their weak economy will permit. China has consolidated its influential hold on East Asia either voluntarily or out of fear. Can we hold out at least the status quo for two more years.

‘I thought that prayer to the One and only God was no longer allowed in public places.’

Only Christians/Jews are banned from public prayer.

‘Who were they praying to?’

Allahu akbar?

No deal the GOP congress could get with Obama will be acceptable. Delay, delay, delay until prayerfully, we’ll have a conservative GOP president.

The best they could probably do is to pass it piecemeal starting out with border security, significantly delayed citizenship for illegals (30 years to life), enforced e-verify, no criminal illegals, etc.

Biden could do the unthinkable and the nation a great service by publicly resigning and state unequivocally that he cannot serve someone so out of touch with reality. It is highly unlikely he would be nominated in 2016 but he may have saved our nation during these perilous times.

Somehow, someway Obama needs to be removed from power. He is mentally unstable. What is he going to do when (not if) Putin invades a NATO nation? More red lines ignored? Don’t bet against it.

Obama responded that his patience was running out and..."

Said the same thing to Bibi during their meeting. Then went upstairs to have dinner with his family.
