I'm a poll monitor in charlotte near the inc campus. Lines are around the building, all students. Judge says its as big if a turnout as 2012. Please vote even if you have to hold your nose!
Unc university campus not inc.
Bad news. The potheads have been bussed in for Hagan
I live in an extremely liberal town in Kansas. The poles were light.
We voted last Saturday here in NM. Early voting started in mid-October and you could go to any polling place you wanted. The one we went to was packed at 9 a.m. There was a line of about 10 minutes to get a place to sit and fill out your ballot.
Gravesend Brooklyn. Totally dead at 5:30. There were 3-4 people voting.
A blast text went out, “Free condoms to voters”
Tillis and the Hag spent over 100 mil in NC, so I guess with that much attention, people are treating it as a presidential election.
In my hometown in CT, early this afternoon, I voted. Just some seniors, a grandmother with her daugther, and a Christian woman. Light numbers.
I voted in Albuquerque the first Tues of early voting and also had to wait for 10 mins or so. My son on other side of town but different day said it was crowded there too. So don’t know what scheme is behind telling us how light the turnout is ??
Our little grange hall in the north Idaho Hoodoo valley was very busy. One of the attendants opined that they were much busier than 2012. Several folks open carrying. Unknown number carrying concealed, including myself. I like surprises.
Doing my part to keep North Idaho Democrat free for the last 16 years.
Colorado is mail in this year.
"I would appreciate you not commenting on my weight...."
I just posted it to the wrong thread, but I was there to help open the polls in a little one-room schoolhouse in northern Idaho, and was thinking, gosh, turnout is sure light this year, and by the time I got to the door I saw the parking lot was full, they were parking on the grass, and what was coming toward the door looked like a lynch mob. Those were some mighty unhappy folks and I know how they voted. I mean, the state is safe for the Republicans anyway, but they were there to send a message and come to think of it, so was I.
I waited in line about 15 minutes in South Carolina. And no one mentioned my NRA hat.
Voted at about 3:45 in a heavily Democrat infested suburb of Pittsburgh. Nobody there except me, my wife and about 6 poll workers. Asked one of the ladies if it had been like this all day and she told me in a sad voice “Pretty much.” And the weather has been beautiful all day. The only race that has a Republican on it is for Governor. There were three races that Democrats were running unopposed so I voted for Tom Corbett and wrote-in my step-daughter for the other three.
Very crowded in Alabama at 4pm.
Voted 7am in CT- all booths were full with a short line. Mostly middle aged and up voting.
kid it aint voting if ya have to hold ya nose....
