Wonder if he moonlighted as the Movie Phone guy.
Trying to see both sides of the story here, he does not seem unreasonable (given his comments towards the end)
Maybe he is only guilty of working while Republican and they are trying to make him miserable enough so that he quits?
I have encountered this myself
*Pause*
“Why don’t you just TELL me the movie you want to see?”
“Dillon has worked for the Health Department since 1976 and has never faced disciplinary action before this case, the decision says. “

I am totally on Dillon’s side.
I’d say he’s guilty of being bored.
He’s lucky he didn’t get fired if he didn’t obey his bosses instructions, very disrespectful.
I suppose it’s no worse than someone from Bangalore saying “Hello, this is Jim from one of your mid-western cities. How I may be helping you?
People need to chill and get a sense of humor.
This nation is getting its collective panties in a wad over everything.
Dillon has worked for the Health Department since 1976”
38 years on the job? Maybe he was trying to “go out with a bang.” He can try being “bodysuit man” next.
“said during a disciplinary hearing before Administravie Law Judge Kara Miller that Dillon talked in the phony voice”
Wonder if he used the voice in the hearing....
Sounds like racism against his dialect... anti robot!!!
Should have tried to sound like an African-American Robot.
Time for him to trip and injure his back while entering his bosses office and go on disability for life....
If he spoke jive would they still fire him? Most of his clients calling would probably understand it better...
I really don’t see what he did wrong here. I think it’s hilarious.
Gov ern men tal a gen cies — at an y le vel — have no sense of hu mor.
:)
On the plus-side, it isn’t often you call any kind of government office, and they actually answer the phone.
He SHOULD have answered in the most generic voice pattern accent of any customer service ... HINDU!!
