Green coffee bean extract, which Dr. Mehmet Oz promoted on his show as a “magic weight-loss cure,” had one scientific study backing up the extract’s purported effects. Now, that research has been retracted, the blog Retraction watch reported.

The green coffee bean manufacturer, Applied Food Sciences Inc., agreed to pay a $3.5 million settlement after the Federal Trade Commission charged the company with using the results of the flawed study to make baseless claims, the agency announced in September. …

Having worked for 20+ years at one of the world’s finest hospitals I know that when you’re a cardiac surgeon on the staff of another one of he world’s finest hospitals you’ve really made it.God only knows why he went on a limb like that.I predict that his medical career...and very possibly his private life....will soon begin to nosedive.

The big problem is the idiots that don’t bother to do any further research. And then they buy crap that most likely doesn’t even have much of or any of the “magic” ingredient.

And of course these scammers use pictures and statements of Dr. Oz or whoever they are saying endorses the product to trick the people into thinking it is real.

Then they try to blame it on others instead of themselves being stupid and not looking into it better.

Yep. Getting a good night’s rest and deep breathing help significantly.

Haven't had a good night's rest for decades. Melatonin gives me weird creepy dreams. Chamomile tea didn't help. Valerian root didn't help. I have pills but they make me feel groggy and slow the next day.

Going to bed should be something one looks forward to but it's not. Wake up multiple times all night for no discernible reason. I so envy those who can go to sleep and stay asleep.

That stinks. I tried melatonin before, and I had crazy dreams. They would wake me up.

I don’t know if it would help, but I’ve found yoga and deep breathing help to quiet my mind. It may help you with sleep...good luck.
