Unless things change in the next two years, I believe the Obama’s will be hunted people long before 2018.

What difference, at this point, does it make.

Cal is a write off. Total sanctuary, green, welfare state, anti-business.

I must assume that the seat has been thoroughly inspected by structural engineers.

Is California really that hard up for commie libs that the mooch is the best they can do? Maybe they are just looking for someone who can tell them what to eat for lunch everyday.

How completely ridiculous.

A First Lady could never ever leave the White House, establish residency in a state she has never lived and win a US Senate seat from that state!

And then what, is she going to become the Secretary of State and run for president?

Don’t make me laugh!

I was wondering whether she would jump right to running for president.

The gay and hispanic pols will feel robbed of their chance to become the US Senator from CA.

you replace one vapid doooosh with another and things remain the same in the Senate.

the real test will be what this election season will bring to the Senate that really matters.

I have family who actually debated who should be the first female president. Some say Hillary and some say Mooch. Yes, I have family members who are that stupid.

The oldest member of the Senate, Feinstein, 81 ...

DiFi, old White guy? Today's Thurmond or Byrd or Lautenberg?

I don't seriously see MFO going in for this. It's not wildly impossible that she could be talked into it, but she doesn't seem to be that personally ambitious or that much of a risk-taker.

While I’m sure she’d get a certain amount of grim satisfaction from Republican Senators having to call her “my good friend Senator Obama” and having to listen to her in committee hearings and the like, I don’t see this happening. In the first place I think there is no place she would rather not be than in the Senate. In the second place, even if she was interest she’d run for the seat from Illinois up in 2016. What more satisfaction could she get than winning back her husband’s old seat from the Republicans?

Obama will get a position at USC.

His wife then can run for Feinstein’s seat.

The first couple haven’t said where they’ll go when Barack Obama leaves office in 26 months, but Los Angeles is the leading contender.

I thought the president wanted to stay in Washington D.C. or close to it to make sure his agenda stays intact regardless of who his predecessor is. People who ready this story will think Michelle Obama becoming a US senator from California is crazy. Hmm. Didn’t we all think the same thing when Hillary announced she was going to run for the senate from New York? It’s all about power and the Obamas, as well as the Clintons, can never give it up.
