I believe a decision from the grand jury is just around the corner. With this in mind...
Do you think that Officer Darren Wilson will face charges - or not?
Do you think the grand jury should give equal weight to both sides (eyewitness Officer Darren Wilson and the 5 other eyewitnesses)? Are civilan eyewitness accounts (be it one person or more) ever equal to that of a police officer? If so, in which cases?
If the 5 eyewitnesses don't agree on all things, should the grand jury take into account everything the 5 eyewitnesses do agree upon?
Does the witness of 5 outweigh the witness of 1, or is an Appeal to Numbers automatically fallacious? In that case, if more than 1 eyewitness acount cannot be relied on, how then can just 1 eyewitness account (Officer darren Wuilson) be relied upon?
So do I.
But if Wilson is not indicted I am pretty sure there will be angry violence.
If Wilson IS indicted, there is a good chance there will be celebratory violence.
there will be rioting.................again
I think if all photos and every thing else is released, it will be obvious the riots were wrong and people should be incarcerated including those who instigated.
Look for Holder and Obama to apologize to the cop............RTFLMAO.
Obola will release a few hundred million to cover the damages. There is no accountability in the US. A nation of victims.
Hussein and Holder will ENSURE he is indicted, regardless of the evidence.
I don't think so...If there were going to be riots across the nation, they would have happened already...What you have had up to this point is a paid group of protestors who have struggled to maintain the energy necessary for these riots...I believe, that the rest of the nation has figured out that Brown was a dirtbag thug who if he had not been killed in Ferguson, would have met his maker in the very near term anyway with the way he was living his life...
we will see “leaked” grand jury info every Friday for the next few weeks and eventually, no charges will be filed. He will be whisked away to another state with his family, maybe never to be heard from for several years. the National Guard will be deployed in Ferguson and the race-baiters will have material for the next chapter in this book of idiocy. as a side note, my guess is that the DOJ is begging them to not release a final until after mid-terms are done. they can’t have their base out throwing fire-bombs when they should be in the voting booth
I pray that officer Wilson is NOT indicted and I don’t care how many of their own homes and businesses the Ferguson savages destroy because of it.
Justice is supposed to be blind homies.
Who cares? I live in a remote part of Nevada.
I’d have to get in the truck and drive a stretch to encounter a law enforcement officer, a black person, a member of a grand jury, or a communist agitator. Some of those a lot longer drive than others.
... And honestly now: At these gas prices, who’d want to?
He’ll be cleared of any charges just in time to whip up the black vote. Watch for it.
No way. I'd evacuate my family, have them take the family pets, bible, and pictures, etc. Then I would DOUBLE my homeowners insurance and have my FOP/RKBA buddies help me stand guard.
Then when SHTF, you kill anyone that tries to illegally harm you. The savages understand force, and when dead bodies start piling up on your property, they may back off. I'm not running. F' them. I deal with them all the loud mouth "dindunuttins" all the time here in central AR, and when the first crack of gunshots happen, those loud mouth gibsmedats scatter like cockroaches like the cowards they are.
It is WAY past time to play cowboys and criminals. I say bring it.
I say, no indictment, whereupon Holder will find some other charges to stick on him.
It’s like the bad old days before double jeopardy where you could be arrested and prosecuted over and over again until the powers that be were satisfied with the verdict.
Prior to that, I think a lot of people might have thought that Brown was unfairly targeted, but once the video of the store robbery came out, most opinions have been pretty fixed.
It's gotten to be a joke that as soon as one of these goons is shot by the police, the momma gets on TV to say what a good boy he was. Nobody with any common sense believes it anymore.
Unless they stack the jury with a bunch from North County, you'd be hard pressed to find two people, much less twelve from South County or West County to convict Wilson. (Well, maybe if they came from Webster Groves or Kirkwood). So, no, the jury would not be intimidated by the protesters. Most people I know would love to find a way to piss them off even more.
Unfortunately for the race-baiters there are witnesses that corroborate Wilson’s version of the story. The facts that have been released to the public support Wilson. The so-called ‘eyewitness accounts” are tainted and not credible. If the grand jury operates simply on the merits of the facts at hand they will No Bill. My guess is that they are biding their time looking for an opportune moment to release their decision.
Similar to American politicians pissing their pants in fear of offending muslims, this “grand jury” will manufacture enough “cause” to indict him for murder, just to buy time for themselves.
Wilson will then be incarcerated and conveniently set up to be killed in jail.
It all comes down to his medical records. Wilson won’t be indicted for murder if his skull was fractured.
No Bill
Their decision is not really an issue of believing five witnesses versus believing one or two witnesses. Credibility will be determined by which witnesses' testimony is supported by the forensic evidence (autopsy, blood spatter, casing location ...).
you are forgetting that it will depend on the makeup of the members of the grand jury.
Yes, they really need to do something in solidarity with him. It could have been any of them. They were wearing those bracelets until they were told not to, so I suspect they will walk, or do something in support of him.
Before the election would be better. Historically, "Burn, baby, burn!" doesn't work out so well for the party of the arsonists.
