"Remember how your grandparents would always tell you life was more difficult for them? And how hard they had to work everyday? Turns out they weren't exaggerating in the slightest."
“Gramps schooled that kid it was great to see the smirk literally knocked off the whelps face.”
For me there is is nothing more fun than showing up at one of the 100 mile disease rides and finishing an hour ahead of the hot-shot racer boys on their new, lighter, more efficient, technologically advanced carbon fiber bikes.
Same thing different sport
I hope he punched the videographer just as many times, and just as hard. Is it impossible to film when the camera is turned on its side?
THANK YOU!
A lesson for all - HOLD THE PHONE SIDEWAYS WHEN TAKING A VIDEO!
Otherwise you get nonsense like this. It could have been so much better with that one simple step.
I remember an old Cops show where they went to a nightclub sidewalk and found a knocked out young guy with a knife, plus a small elderly man in good condition. He was walking down the street and the other guy jumped him and got knocked out. Old guy told the cops he had been a boxing champ years ago.
I tried a “kick boxing” class about ten years back. Tore my ass up. My friend was a hell of a puncher - I was the worst in the class of 40 people. She was tall and thin and could punch like a man! By the time I had gotten bored with the class I had learned to punch well enough so that she complimented me, and that was a BFD to me.
But I could kick. I could kick better than dam near anyone but the instructor. I danced street jazz for a dozen years, and my kickin’ muscles were spectacular. :)
Can’t find any reference to such an incident with the Rock. Here’s the one about Dempsey.
“In 1971, Dempsey recounted an incident when he was mugged while walking home at night. According to Dempsey, the two young muggers attempted to grab his arms, but Dempsey broke free and laid them both out cold on the sidewalk. The story of the encounter appeared in the Hendersonville Times-News in July 1971. In the print-story, the incident was reported to have taken place “a few years ago”.”

I’ve heard this story too, but can’t remember which elderly boxer it was about.
The old guy beat him with much better footwork.
The problem was the young man did not want to knock out pops because of respect for his age and pops took advantage of the young man’s honorable and respectful stance. Kind of sickening, really.
