AUSTIN, Texas -- As Ebola continued to ravage communities in West Africa this summer, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a division under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced "immigration relief measures" for citizens of three countries affected by the deadly virus.
In short, the USCIS has been waiving fees, expediting the immigration process, and allowing extensions of visas for anyone coming from the three designated Ebola-stricken countries, provided that they are in the United States. The Free Republic blog reported that the law firm of Edward W. Neufville, III, LLC, a Washington, D.C. area immigration firm, added a section to their website two days after the USCIS announcement, with more details about how these relief measures would work, including extensions of the time that the foreign national could remain in the United States, additional work permit

So that was probably why Duncan’s visa suddenly came through in August, after being delayed for some time.
What a coincidence!
I’m convinced.
Everything is just a coincidence.
Well, you would be a conpiracy theorist or a kook if you stated what was clear as day.
Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who died from Ebola earlier this month, had traveled to the United States after his visa was approved in August, the same month that USCIS announced the new relief measures.
BIG coincidence.
It says for people already in the USA which means we are giving immigrant status to who knows how many more Africans who will go on welfare.
I did not know Duncan just got his visa. did he get it after he helped that pregnant ebola victim?
I can understand sayinq that we won’t make people already here qo back to their ebola-stricken country, but the combination of open border and a promise to let them stay makes for an open invitation for disease-carryinq people to invade our country illeqally.
Doinq this in Auqust fits with an “October surprise” timeline.
Are there still people who don’t see that this foreiqn enemy combatant in our White House is bent on destroyinq this nation?
This actually makes sense. If they are already here, let them stay. It is a humanitarian move with which I firmly agree.
Just a question for the folks out there: Imagine if Israelis had some sort of deadly plague, do you think we'd still be allowing flights to and from Israel?
Would immigrant visas of Israeli citizens be fast tracked? Hmmmmm?
It cannot be cheap to fly from these third world countries, especially how they have to go thru European countries, maybe thousands on short booking notice. Where does this money come from? President Obola? Are we paying for them to bring their wonderful diseases to our own country?
Do we need to build a wall worthy of firing squad duty?
*sigh*
Lets just accept that this is a deliberate attempt to bring a crisis to America. The very fact that the President of the United States will not do even the most common sense thing such as a temporary travel ban to the 4 hardest hit countries is proof that he is either a complete incompetent or has malicious intent.
Obama and his whole rats nest of Muslim Brotherhood pinko commie Agenda 21’s need to be physically removed from office.
The Current FReepathon Pays For The Current Quarter's Expenses?
We aren’t a blog.
Problem is--Obala is just a tool, a puppet. The guys calling the shots are in places far from Washington DC.
*Blog*....
...double sigh ;-)
H/t ping....
