All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:

That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

I’m actually ok with that. While it thins the possibilities for us to park the Castle in, it does lead to a “cleaner” feel to the various discussion threads.

On the forum? You'd have to talk to Jim and John. They're the ones who maintain the forum. Dev kits for revising code to handle 64-bit extensions have been around for the better part of a decade now.

For the volume FR has had to handle over it's lifetime, I'd say things are pretty smooth right now. Probably best not to upset the squirrels powering the server rack by making too many changes.

LOL! We leave ours up well into January. The cats love the Santa and Snowman pillows, and the Santa and Snowman mosaic lamps.
They love the lamps because they become little heaters, about 14" high, that are just the right warmth for cats to sleep nearby.

There IS something comforting about hermetically sealing yourself in for the winter, LOL! I do the plastic on the west windows and patio doors; makes a HUGE difference.

Our house was built in 1977. Some of the windows are original, some we've replaced with low-e upgrades. Budgets only stretch so far...

Next big project is building out the garage into a new Man cave since my eldest took over my old "man cave" for her room.
