Recent Mars Images (Marvin the Martian throws down the kaboom in a guest zot)

All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:

That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

I’m supposed to be given at least 24 hours written notice before an inspection of any kind, and there was none, so I am, understandably, upset at her coming in. I could have put Sparkle in the closet and shut the door.
This gal seems to be over-stepping a lot of boundaries, and I suspect she thinks she is immune to any disciplinary action. At the least, she could be moved to some housing property that is 90 miles from here.

I was able to pull up WW today, but it would seem as if they are still working on it. I have to really hunt to find the tracking tool.
Back on The Diet. I just had a small salad and a cheeseburger patty and feel stuffed.
One of my great nieces sent me a fruitcake, but not like the ones my mother used to make, thankfully! It was pretty good, but I only had half a slice. What will I do with the rest of it...?
My grandson’s New Favorite Tie came today, but the tie tack wasn’t with it. Now I have to go on a Search And Destroy Mission...

Go PAT!
Oh. Wait. That sounds a lot like “Go, PATS,” as in Patriots, so I’ll say, “GO, PATRICK!”

as in PatriotsNothing wrong with patriots, this country can use all of those they can get.
The Patriots on the other hand are in lieberal Massachusetts where there is a shortage of their namesake these days.
Sam Adams, Paul Revere, and a bunch of others are rolling over.
Posthumously.

Two fine chaps, there.
One of whom really knew how to throw a party.
Who was the chap that landed in Wales and got very drunk?
That is a joint celebration every year.

Paul Revere's Ride occurred between April 18 and 19 of 1775. This was a warning that the British were marching and a precursor to The Battles of Lexington and Concord. Paul Revere, and William Dawes left to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams that the British were coming for them and gave that warning in Lexington. The warning signals were lanterns to be placed in the Old North Church in Boston. One lantern meant the British were moving by land south of town and two lanterns meant they were moving by river north of town. They then continued his ride up to Concord to warn the people themselves. They ran into Samuel Prescott who joined them in giving out the warning. On the way to Concord they were ambushed and Revere was captured but the others escaped. Dawes was unable to make it the entire trip because of his horse but Prescott managed to finish giving out the warning. While Paul Revere was most famously known for this event he couldn't have done it without help. There you have it Moosie!

I like those basement kittehs,
Sorry been offline. Had a couple of hellacious days health wise at the doctors. Last night I cried myself to sleep.
I’m really in a fowl mood. Pun intended. I’ll be back when I’m in a better mood and not craving KFC. I’m just sick and tired of being sick.

There was one near me. It closed. Now the closest one is 14 miles away. All the close fast food places are yeechy. McDonald’s, BK, and a Duncan Donuts every mile and of course, Starbucks.
Lots of mom and pop places. And of course NJ diners.
