That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

Looks OK to me. I use the cheapest scented litter I can find; I’ve gone through several brands and my cats don’t seem to care. When you start, though, you might want to sprinkle a bit of the old litter in with the new, so that it smells right to the cat.
Thanks for the tip. I wasn’t sure she would take to the clumping because it may not smell the same as what they used at the clinic, but she’s good with it. I’m glad.

Survived the mall. I would have bought a “Marauders’ Map” mini-dress at Hot Topic, but it wasn’t on markdown, and Elen wouldn’t let me use her $15-off coupon. Maybe it’ll go on clearance after Christmas, and maybe there will still be one in my size. I didn’t buy the Hello Kitty Godzilla t-shirt, either.

An animated Marauder's Map, with footprints moving about, would be something fun to wear. With today's technology it should be possible to make.
I'm predicting a future trend in animated clothing.

It’s good that you survived the mall. I don’t frequent them, myself. They don’t open early enough for me.
Before 0700 works just fine. Parking is always available, enough check stands are open to where I have a choice but don’t have to wait in line for 20 minutes, and then I can spend the rest of the day doing what I want. YAY, me!
It’s UGLY outside. I’m glad I don’t have to go anywhere and that no one is coming to visit. I want to go to bed soon. I have eaten a little today, keeping in mind the day before, and hopefully, tomorrow, I can get back on the diet. I’m not sure what the last 36 hours means to WW, but I’m not going to eat to make up for what I lost yesterday.
Before the weather set in, I delivered some Christmas cards to some of the residents here, and one of them hung a bottle of cabernet sauvignon on my gate with a card enclosed. However, he smokes, so he is out of the running.

Cookie Rules*
1. If you eat a Christmas cookie fresh out of the oven, it has no calories because everyone knows that the first cookie is the “test” and thus calorie free.
2. If you drink a diet soda after eating your second cookie, it also has no calories because the diet soda cancels out the cookie calories.
3. If a friend comes over while you’re making your Christmas cookies and needs to sample, you must sample with your friend. Because your friend’s first cookie is calorie free, (rule #1) yours is also. It would be rude to let your friend sample alone and, being the friend that you are, that makes your cookie calorie free.
4. Any cookie calories consumed while walking around will fall to your feet and eventually fall off as you move. This is due to gravity and the density of the caloric mass.
5. Any calories consumed during the frosting of the Christmas cookies will be used up because it takes many calories to lick excess frosting from a knife without cutting your tongue.
6. Cookies colored red or green have very few calories. Red ones have three and green ones have five - one calorie for each letter. Make more red ones!
7. Cookies eaten while watching “Miracle on 34th Street” have no calories because they are part of the entertainment package and not part of one’s personal fuel.
8. As always, cookie pieces contain no calories because the process of breaking causes calorie leakage.
9. Any cookies consumed from someone else’s plate have no calories since the calories Rightfully belong to the other person and will cling to their plate. We all know how calories like to CLING!
10. Any cookies consumed while feeling stressed have no calories because cookies used for medicinal purposes NEVER have calories. It’s a rule!
So, go out and enjoy those Christmas Cookies - we only get them this time of year!

Sparkle is doing much better. She spends more time out of the closet, killing the rugs (they are in such sorry shape, now! LOL!) and playing. Still, the bedroom door sticks and she doesn’t like that sound, nor does she like the sound of the nebulizer. Either noise sends her back to the closet where she won’t come out.
Last night was miserable again. It must have been 0300 before I was able to sleep, and was awake at 0600. *sigh*
I need some chicken broth.
It’s 41 degrees, mostly cloudy, but no rain expected for two more days.
Ah, perfect weather then.
