All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

We’re supposed to have a sunny but chilly (50s) day. Tom is going to try, again, to get all the outdoor lights lit. We ought to get some benefit out of him, for all he eats!
My brother in the Scranton, PA, area is supposed to get heavy snow, not for the first time this winter.
I have Weight Watchers this morning, a stop at a choir member’s house, a trip to the library, and then tonight I have to go to church to help with another music issue. I’m glad it’s not going to snow!

We humans can know and share our lives with them when we remember our place, that is.
Lots of grumpy and soggy people on public transportation this morning, but other than that it’s been uneventful.
I work for the Department of Sanitation, which here in NYC is also responsible for clearing snow on the city’s roads. We spend days like this glad it’s only water that’s falling.
Another night with chest pains. I’m so tired of that...
Sparkle had a really fun night, playing with her new toy, and killing the rugs. I’d just drop off to sleep and I’d hear claws tweaking the sisal on the toy or the nap on the rug, or the crunch of dry food. She comes out when it’s dark, and not before. In desperation, around 0300, I closed the closet door.
Maybe you need to sleep in the living room. Catz are, after all, nocturnal.
I’ll adjust to her habits. She will eventually lose the need for the closet and will be more active in the daytime, and I won’t always have chest pains at night.
It will work out. She is still very leery of the bedroom door and what’s behind it!
Jake was scratching at the window blinds by his bed last night. Like we needed new annoying cat behaviors. And Shannon spewed on the carpet this morning, instead of on the tile.
Of course Shannon spewed on the carpet...it’s more absorbent. I bought a small brush for Sparkle but I didn’t get any Vaseline and I don’t want to go back today.
The dishes are all stacked and waiting for me, and that’s probably going to do it for me for this morning. If I feel up to it, I will dictate a few more pages of my personal history. I just took some Ibuprofen, so maybe when it goes to work, I won’t be too dizzy to read.
