All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

I’m hoping to find Vitamin A at Walmart today. They’ve been out for a while. I could probably get it at another store, but I haven’t been to one lately.
I’m going to have to upload and post a picture of my mini monster.
She is tiny, four pounds like I said, but very quick
If I’d had my wits about me, and known she was a shoulder cat beforehand, I’d have named her “Lady Sundancer of Greenfields”.
Anyone who has read Mercedes Lackey’s Ships cat work will recognize SKitty.
Who is described as an all black floofy shoulder cat..
I’d love to see a picture of her!
;-)
I'm thinking that the non-toxic paint was PhotoShop® brand...
Back from Walmart. I got lots of car food and a box of litter.
I also got a pic of The Queen of Evil, but you can’t prove it by me!
I’m still having some chest pain, but not as bad as it was. I will have another breathing treatment, soon, and maybe this episode will be done with by bedtime.
This may be just me, but I have yet to meet a cold that is any less annoying than heck.
Mayhaps I am too sensitive.
Well, Kiwi did definitely have worms, which was causing the behavior for which she was vetified and terrified.
Praziquantel...
Whether it is more traumatic for her to have you or the vet cram the pill down her throat is left for the Human to decide... ;-)
I’m glad you’re doing better. I went to Walmart, too.
It’s cold and wet here.
“Im going to have to upload and post a picture of my mini monster.”
Defirably.
The images that have built up in the mind create a Zena Warrior Kittie’ type image...so will be braced for cuteness overload. :)
I ran into an old friend at Wally World, but she was in a hurry to leave. I wondered if my deodorant failed...
It’s sunny here, but there is a chilly breeze, so I have been wearing my warmest hoodie — Arkansas Razorbacks!’
I still have to check on Sparkle. I’ve been so distracted today, by things to do and how I was feeling that I didn’t spend very much time with her. I’m still not all that great, since I missed over three weeks of olive leaf extract. That causes so much trouble with my body.
But I will make up for it tonight. Who knows? She may have missed me!
Maybe your friend had an appointment.
As long as Sparkle has food, water, and a clean box, she might be happier being left alone to grumble to herself. Maybe she’ll be ready to sleep with you tonight.
We have some sunny days in the forecast. Unless there’s a dramatic weather event, we won’t get a downpour for our church event on Friday.
My friend has health problems and I feel bad for her because she lost her only son two years ago. She lives on the way to Walmart, so I really need to call her and schedule a visit. She is sweet, but needy. So I try to be nice but not too available. :o|
I somehow think Sparkle will be a little afraid of large spaces for quite a while, but I also think allowing her to choose is a good thing, over all. I mean, SIX MONTHS! Dang! At least now she allows me to stroke and hold her.
Each time I do, I notice something else unique about her coloring, and it endears her to me more. On her records, she is listed as “black and gray” but that is NOT the case! She is black and orange, but the orange is so subtle that it looks gold. And that means her name is very appropriate.
Yesterday, I addressed Christmas cards, and today they got mailed...mostly to family and very close friends and FRiends. And I got that lightweight box mailed to NC!
I haven't noted any of us commenting on THIS...
They came for the mice, stayed for the food scraps, and whenever it suited, kept cuddly with the cats from the other side of the granary. In other words, not only are cats still mostly wild, but they also pretty much tamed themselves. Maybe that means humans are cats best friend.
Okay. I’ll comment on it.
You realize of course, that description about coming in from the wild, and staying for the comfort and the cozy company applies to all us feral cavemen, too.
I don’t know whether we are friends to cats, but it’s pretty obvious that we’re brothers.
I’m a cat lady. I’m proud to be a cat lady. I don’t even mind when my family calls me a crazy cat lady.
I’m very grateful Ceiling Cat made Cat in her image, so we humans could know and share our lives wih them.
*insert Godzilla yell*
Good morning!
I hope everyone affected by today’s Nor’easter stays dry and has no property damage.
Some flooding here but nothing major yet. Lot of schools cancelled. Lot of happy kids.
Making lots of coffee for all my FReeper friends now. Will not serve to any cats. :)
