"Manual digits, as opposed to the automatic ones that race all over on their own, leaving the rest of the body confused and terrified in the dust?" That would explain your typo situation.
I don't have automatic digits, but my fingers sometimes appear to be cross-wired, as if I had put my arms on backwards.

Let me see if I've gotten this correctly..
Black Friday is supposedly the day after Thanksgiving. And that happens to be today. Whether or not Canadians had a black Friday thing after their Thanksgiving day last month I don't know. (Maybe I should ask FanFan.. ;-)
Anyway... Thanksgiving Day is (almost) an exclusive American holiday (ok - Canada was already mentioned but there's something similar in Grenada, Netherlands, Liberia, and the Aussies on Norfolk Island..)
But not in the UK. Since it seems those on your side of the pond don't have anything to be thankful for, why is it they have a black Friday over there??? ;-)
I realize that the Mail is closely akin to our National Inquirer, but none the less they report thusly...

Sure. They would have sold it earlier if it was priced to sell.

That’s the trouble with Black Friday...if businesses can afford to sell stuff on Black Friday for less than they have sold it all year, then the businesses have over-inflated the cost of the item to begin with.

NOT shopping anywhere this Black Friday...
I'm sitting here sipping a glass of eggnog. (I asked Mrs. NoC if she had any rum or Southern Comfort stashed anywhere that I could enhance it with. She just snorted.)
Anyway, the White Furbeast With No Tail To Tell is now standing on my desk nasally investigating the egg nog. I told her that White Furbeasts don't drink eggnog.
She agreed with me.

Americans invented Thanksgiving.
Canada has Thanksgiving on the 1st Monday of Oct., which makes sense since that is harvest time in most of Canada.
American Loyalists brought the tradition up to Canada after the war of 1812. Sorry about the old White House.
The UK does not celebrate Thanksgiving, although I think some are jealous of it. (I would be)
It’s only been in the last few years that we have had Black Friday.
Canada, and Britain have adopted the USA Black Friday, on the fourth Friday of Nov.
I am so sick the the words “Black Friday”, I could SCREAM, but that would be rude, so I won’t.
Robert, didn’t you know we have massive crock pots in Canada? Kids are so tough, and it takes time to tenderize.

"Manual digits, as opposed to the automatic ones that race all over on their own, leaving the rest of the body confused and terrified in the dust?"I'll assume that was the drift.
I frequently assume because I've walked down avenues . . .
