My wife, before she became my wife, hated that song. Because I’d sing it to her all the time. when she got miffed, I’d casually explain to her that not one of her friends has a boyfriend/husband that cared enough about them to sing to them.
I mean, with lyrics like that, what woman wouldn’t swoon? Especially combined with my voice. Wich has a lovely 5 octave range that sounds suspiciously like a Basset
hound with it’s ears caught in a car door...
Amazing we ever got married now that I think of it ;)
