Stevie Nicks Confirms She Was Once Pregnant With Don Henley's Baby

The '70s nearly had their own Blue Ivy Carter, Stevie Nicks has confirmed. The Fleetwood Mac singer/songwriter recently talked with Billboard about her upcoming 24 Karat Gold LP, and was asked about a comment made by her ex-paramour (and fellow '70s megastar) Don Henley of the Eagles. Henley had said that Nicks had gotten pregnant with his baby, and that Sara (later the name of a Mac top-ten hit) was the name she had given the unborn child. Nicks corroborated the important part of that story:
Had I married Don and had that baby, and had she been a girl, I would have named her Sara. But there was another woman in my life named Sara, who shortly after that became Mick's wife, Sara Fleetwood.
The idea of Nicks and Henley maybe the two most famous members of the two most famous American rock bands of the late '70s having a child is kind of a crazy one. It would've been a tumultuous upbringing to say the least, but just imagine the smooth, California-inflected and overwhelmingly bitter songwriting DNA that kid would've had. John Mayer would kneel in worship, certainly.

Including at least one child that she'd already *named*. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around such a thing.
It's important to name your child; it helps you to heal. My daughter's name is Mary Elizabeth (mlizzy)...

Some women are really focused on their career. They really think they can "have it all" and they "make sacrifices" to get to the top or stay at the top.
They completely miss the irony -- in their quest to "have it all" they end up with 4 abortions and no children.
So sad.

Shes been linked romantically to Lindsey Buckingham, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Jimmy Iovine, Mick Fleetwood, Tom Petty, and many other musicians as well as roadies, so the possibilities of fatherhood for any of these people were there.
Oh, Joe Walsh? Another one of my top favorites! A choir of beautiful baby voices in heaven from Stevie! She must feel so empty without them.

in their quest to "have it all" they...... forget to stop at the drugstore and get the pill? Four times?
An abortion is a lot more "inconvenient" than taking the pill. She couldn't figure that out FOUR TIMES?

Was listening to XM Classical Station and they were talking about an artist they were going to feature.
Was kind of ‘taken aback’ when they mentioned the ‘artist’ was greatly influenced by ‘The Beatles’.
Nothing against ‘The Beatles’, just a ‘shock’ hearing of them in that context when Aaron Copland is considered a youngster in that genre.

Well, yes, you can specifically criticize Stevie for being stupid. But I was trying to make a more general point about feminism -- women are told that they can "have it all" and that abortion is a key "right" which helps them achieve this.
And the irony is that this is rather blatantly self-contradictory. They get old, look round, and say. "I don't have kids or grandkids. I'm missing out on so much."
Feminism is a great evil. It makes people stupid.

And she once got married to the widower of her good friend who’d died of some horrible illness, so that the infant daughter would have a mother in the house — and then bailed.
It’s surprising that she hadn’t been knocked up by a few dozen fellow low-life celebs.

I read the below as her saying she was 'into' if not with Sara Fleetwood?...
Had I married Don and had that baby, and had she been a girl, I would have named her Sara. But there was another woman in my life named Sara, who shortly after that became Mick's wife, Sara Fleetwood.,
Not that there is anything wrong with that...

You DO realize your response is one of the reasons women do not come forward with their regrets. And if they don't come forward they can't help others. That is how Satan keeps abortion "alive," through silence (and shame) of their mothers.

And I do see your point. And it is completely valid.
Could it be that feminism does not make people stupid, stupid people embrace it.
