Officials from Wyomings Game and Fish Department confirmed late Monday that a 31-year-old Utah man had been killed by a bear.
...
A release from the Wyoming wildlife agency said Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan "indicated the pathologists preliminary report stated the individual suffered blunt force trauma from a probable bear bite."
Evidence collected at the site is being analyzed to try to determine if the bear that attacked Stewart was a grizzly or a black bear.
...
Hunter said there are high densities of grizzly and black bears in the drainage where the body was found and there were tracks and signs of multiple bears in close proximity to the remains.

That bear has quite a long paw swipe.
Nailed a Utah man all the way from Wyoming.
Should be able to spot this bear from space, easy to hunt it down!

How did the bear know the man was from Utah? Or was the bear an illegal invader from Wyoming? There are many questions to be asked here.

Please read again.
It says that a man from Utah was killed by a bear in Wyoming.

The title seemed a little ambiguous. Perhaps the writer of the article needs to have his article proofread more carefully.

Sad that someone died at the hands of a bear and also sad that some feel nothing for the man or his family.
May he rest in peace.

Thank you - some idiots think they are comedy writers or such.
I lived in Southeast Alaska for 25 years and know two men who were attacked by brown bears - one survived with horrific facial scarring and no scalp, while all that was recovered from the fatal mauling was the victim's head and one hand. Being eaten alive is not a good way to go, and there is nothing humorous about it.

The title could be read and construed as I posted.
I was cracking wise about it.
A better title would be “Utah man dies in Wyoming bear attack” or “Bear attack in Wyoming kills man from Utah”.
Or, pretty much anything that doesn’t sound like the bear did a hadouken to kill someone in another state.

That’s for certain. Journalism in general has gone to hell.

Once, you could read the news without going ‘Wait, wut?’ over a headline unless the editor and author had wanted you to do so.
These days, it’s...
..I do not know where these editors come from, but it can’t be Earth.
Or at least, not any Earth that we know.
