FULL TITLE: Brazen shoplifter is arrested after slow-speed chase on a motorized Wal-Mart wheelchair that she stole 'because she didn't feel like walking'
Police in Michigan say they arrested a shoplifting suspect following her slow-speed getaway in a $1,200 motorized wheelchair shopping cart taken from a Wal-Mart.
Cops located 46-year-old Shirley Mason about 2 miles away from the store in Fruitport Township.
She was riding the stolen $1,200 cart with $600 in clothing, the Muskegon Chronicle reported.

Just last week I saw a drug deal go down involving two people on these Medicaid (ie, you & I paid for them) scooters.
They were NOT old people.
I’m guessing that they had so many DUIs that this was their only mode of transport.

The ones I've seen go about 2mph. That's an hour long chase. Did they disable it with spike strips or a Pitt Maneuver.
