Good movie despite some really gaping plot problems. One of the better songs.
I loved the tricked out gondola.

Even in Happy Gilmore you could tell he wasn’t in the best of health, literally leaning on people to stay upright.

I met him in 1985 He and I were on the same flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. At the Las Vegas airport some girls asked him if they could be photographed with him. he said yes and he asked me to take the pictures. After I took the pictures he thanked me profusely and told me how kind I was. He was the nicest man I ever met. RIP.

Benign character compared to what we have running loose in the world and in Congress today.

He also played in Bert Reynolds movies Gator, The Longest Yard, and at least one other I’m certain. In Gator he was driving a car with his head sticking out of the sun roof.

Wow. The first James Bond movie I ever saw was “Moonraker”, and I loved him in it, even though he scared me.
He was so good in “Happy Gilmore “’, and the Twilight Zone.
I didn’t know he was 7’ 2” tall.

I love old Burt Reynolds good ole boy movies. I just posted a great clip today here on FR on a scene in White Lightening.
In Gator, “Bones” wasn’t Kiel. Some other guy. But that was great seeing Bones’ head sticking out of the Mark IV roof.
