My ‘94 Caprice with the LT1 just died (transmission). One of the last of its kind. No one makes a classic six seater sedan anymore.

Do you check out Curbside Classic?

I read it every day. Couple of days ago they posted on the 1962 Cadillac Sedan. Arguably one of the best Cadillacs ever made.

Just more cars I would drool over and never be able to afford to (afford) drive. I am not even 40 yet, but I love road yachts. They scream “America is Awesome!” to me.

I liked the Lincoln that Cannon had in the later seasons.

Top Gear had one and another like Kojak’s Buick. Performance wise they were sad. But I still like it.

Never say never.

Many of these great American classics can be had for a song. And I’m talking running and driving fair to good condition vehicles.

Now. If you want a 69 Road Runner of 71 Cuda in excellent condition, you better have $200,000 as a start.

But your 1970 Conti? I bet you can find one in decent shape somewhere for less than $5,000.

My 1973 VW bug, purchased brand new for $2,400, served me well during 1973 and 1978 gasoline shortages. I drove by and honked while the guy that owned the Lincoln was pushing his car in the gas lines.
