Does anyone have a idea of what really happened? WHy would they take her off life support that fast? Did they do EEG or any other method to determine if she was responsive?

Some people love Profofol, swear by it because its a quick recovery compared to other sedations(Trust me Ive been sedated more times than most it takes about an hour to get over it and even then I would need a wheelchair) but with Profofol, you have to know what amount to give..and the person has to be watched, constantly, any change of blood pressure, or breathing rate has to be constantly looked at. They make you sign a waver for ANY kind of procedure that involves sedation so they can’t be liable..but if they gave her a fatal dose, they can be sued. Its not like she went to some crappy clinic, Ive looked that place up these look like top notch doctors..but something went horribly wrong. It would have been better had she never been sedated in the first place
Was her anesthetist named Mohammed? Just wondering...
I raised holy hell over such a waiver at the dentist years ago, and when another patient started gripping about something else; the nurse got all flustered and forgot to get me to sign the waiver...they put me under, and did their work. If I had croaked, my wife would have owned them.
But here I am...
I found Joan to be very funny. As a youngster in the late ‘70’s I had a crush on her.
I wonder if she was preceded in death by her old friend Heidi Abramowitz?

Ive signed those wavers many times. I tell ya, Im always so damn nervous about the procedure I don’t bother even reading it, I just sign it and tell them “Please don’t let me die” I was never afraid of the sedation, only of the procedure. Seems like I was worried about the wrong thing. My Mom on the other hand, she will NEVER get sedated, she does endoscopies awake, colonoscopies awake, always has and never will get sedated. She is an over reactor but she always fears not waking up, or her brain turning to mush from sedation

Properly administered for the proper purpose and monitored by an anesthesiologist, Profofol can be excellent choice for the patient as well. It’s the ideal drug if you need to be electro-cardioconverted for recurrent atrial fibrillation.
The Michael Jackson situation was gross medical malpractice. I suspect the same for Joan Rivers, though for different reasons, like her age, no anesthesiologist, etc.
Doctors like it because your basically in and out..the second that needle comes out of you your awake and you can go home..less hospital stay, they can move on to the next patient. Someone wasn’t doing there job here, because from what I understand the endoscope was never even inserted, the second the drug was given she went into cardiac arrest so my guess, she was given too much..Yorkville Endoscopy is going to get investigated and probably sued..if I were the Rivers family I would sue too, if this was gross negligence they basically murdered her

And please, NEVER again have an operation at a little outpatient clinic. Always go the the BIG WHITE HOSPITAL with lots of JEWISH DOCTORS!!! :-)

That’s what I was thinking ...at first, she went on that rant against Hamas and maybe some muzzie doc decided to get some revenge, but the place she went to has almost all Jewish doctors with 2 who seem to be Indian.

They seem to be F ups above all else, as another article said they were sued before for damaging a patients lungs. But you never know, she could have been taken out not that our press will ever report that. NYC is notorious as being the self-hating Jew capital of the country, it’s why fundraisers for our radical muslim President were held 2-3 times a week in NYC when he was running both times. I grew up there and finally got smart and moved almost 2 years ago. I remember clear as day, he came in on a Monday, then Wednesday then a Friday - all for fundraisers on the upper east side of Manhattan which is I would say is probably 70-80% Jewish. Joan was one of the smarter Jews like myself who could see this sc*mbag for what he was but sadly a lot of Jews choose to remain blind.
The Hamas lovers who are glad that this wonderful human is dead will get theirs. That is all I have to say..these kind of cockroaches always get what is coming to them
