Russian women place first in the world in terms of how much time they spend in front of a mirror, a study conducted by U.S. company Harris Interactive revealed.
Fifty-seven percent of Russian women between the ages of 18 and 49 spend at least 45 minutes getting ready before leaving the house, according to the study, published in the Copenhagen-based newspaper MetroExpress.
Dutch women came in second place, with 49 percent of them spending the same amount of time getting dolled up.
British women came in third, with 44 percent; Polish women took fourth place, with 32 percent; and Germans placed fifth, with 26 percent.
Spanish, Italian, Turkish and French women were found by the study to spend the least amount of time staring at their own reflections. The study was conducted over the Internet among 4,069 women.
And the French women just shake out their hair, throw on some rags and look like a million bucks.

a million bucks minus the dollar value of a lifetime of smoking and general world weariness. So maybe 850,000 bucks.
Not as pretty as the Vietnamese women in their ao dai, but French women definitely get points for their ‘I’m hot and I know it so I don’t have to spend all that time in front of a mirror getting made up and my boobs are real’ attitude.
Married to one, yes they are. I remember taking my wife to an American grocery store for the first time after she immigrated here. She couldn't believe what she saw; American women in public wearing sweatpants, no makeup and their hair pulled back into ponytails. She told all her friends back home about it and they laughed, thinking she was pulling their legs.
I’m sorry, but she is just gross.
Blonde hair and fake boobs are not nearly enough to make her pretty.
Put her on a cheeseburger diet for a spell and when she looks like a woman not a fence post with large knots, she might be ok.
That is wholly unattractive.
She’s had thousands of dollars of full body/face surgery to look like a Barbie Girl.
One of better merits[imho] of the US, alot of women and such are very casual and in that matter. Sure, there is a time and place to wear the costume of fashion. But, Europe really take it to the extremes.
Most of that 45 minutes is spent trying to figure out how to hide their rotten teeth....
Don’t be leavin’ all that silicon out in the sun too long!
Shes had thousands of dollars of full body/face surgery to look like a Barbie Girl.

She has succeeded in looking made entirely from plastic.
So her body is fake and her brain is non-existent.
Does anyone find her attractive?
Years ago, I came across a passage from Conrad Hilton’s diary complaining very sarcastically about the amount of time “princess”, aka ZsaZsa Gabor, spent in front of the mirror every morning.
"Spasiba!"
One is from Ukraine...who have several undergoing this transformation to look like Barbie dolls. Frankly it’s foolish but they’re quite competitive with one another and much hate between them.
I’m thinking in essence it’s true, they just seem to have effortless style.
LOL!
Why is it every time I see a russian lady over 35 (in russia), she’s wearing the babushka and has elephant cankles underneath that long dress/skirt they wear?
Speaking of women as they age....ever notice how German girls are Barbie’s when they are young and turn into Butch Helga’s at about 40?
“This tv show, it SPEAKS to me!”
I’ll bet your wife’s Russian friends also thought she was pulling their legs when she described the cornucopia of fresh vegetables, lean meats, and stocked shelves in that grocery store.
Not really. They were shocked at the prices though.
Russian grocery stores are plenty stocked (and by "Russian" I mean eastern Ukraine, the part of the region I've visited). Their outdoor markets, even larger, often have the freshest meat, fruits and vegetables I've ever eaten. Eggs, cheese and non-pasteurized milk come straight from the local dairy farms. And it's real. It's not the flavorless, growth-hormoned, genetically-modified crap we call produce.
