I have not been able to access Google Chrome all day- I keep getting a message that Google Chrome has crashed and Windows is looking for a fix. My other browsers (IE; Mozilla) work fine. Anyone else experiencing this problem??

I’ve had a couple of Shockwave-related crashes, or more properly freezes, since the last patching cycle. You might also check your Java version.

I have had a problem recently with unwanted pop up ads, but I reset the settings to default and that took care of it.

You might try reinstalling the version of Chrome you have. The executable may have suffered bit-decay. Happens from time to time.
Failing that you might try downloading and installing the latest version of Chrome.
Watch out for PUPS when installing.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago...you probably have malware...run a anti-malware program...
I still had a few problems...
I finally went to Chrome settings and went back to the default mode and that fixed it..

Nope
But I don’t run spyware.
I use Mozilla Firefox.
I really miss DOS6.2- life was simple then.
It really doesn’t matter anyway because the NSA captures all Our stuff but TOTALLY IGNORE THE TERRORSCUM.

I recently had Google Chrome un-install itself for no visible reason, but when I re-installed it, all of my stuff was still intact.

Some of the early editions of Firefox were bad about operational files becoming corrupted. The solution was to uninstall and reinstall.
That could be the situation with your Chrome. You may have to uninstall and reinstall it.

I had a good deal of difficulty with Chrome lately (not today). A week or so ago, I switched back to Firefox. Lots of SSL errors, etc. Not that this is helpful to you, but I’m glad I switched back. Best regards.
