FULL TITLE: No other team wants to pick up openly gay NFL draft pick Michael Sam after he's cut from the St. Louis Rams
Michael Sam was not picked up by any other team Sunday after the NFL's first openly gay draft pick was cut by the St. Louis Rams.
Sam's dreams of becoming the first gay NFL player have now been placed on hold.
Sam is now free to sign with any NFL practice team.

Agreed. I’d like to think that all the Rams and the other 31 teams would care about is whether Sam could sack a QB and defend against the run and pass, not what he does in his bedroom.
The sideshow from the left is just annoying and in-your-face unnecessary. He’s gay. So what? Can he help the Rams win the Super Bowl? That’s all that should matter.

No affirmative action should be used anywhere. Jobs, sports, politics, media, or anything. Jobs should be awarded on merit. Affirmative action means giving jobs to people that aren’t qualified, President included.

And many other players that were cut are getting the exact same treatment. Are the media really wanting this guy to be treated differently because he’s gay?! I thought they wanted equality?
Whether or not he had the ability to play in the NFL, he’s would be a distraction on any team. The NFL is very competitive, and distractions are not helpful; especially for a marginal player to begin with.

Without checking, I have no idea what position he plays or how well he played it.
Even if was marginally good enough to make an NFL team, nobody wants the circus that goes along with him.
I would have said the same about Tebow after the Jets let him go.
