FULL TITLE: No other team wants to pick up openly gay NFL draft pick Michael Sam after he's cut from the St. Louis Rams
Michael Sam was not picked up by any other team Sunday after the NFL's first openly gay draft pick was cut by the St. Louis Rams.
Sam's dreams of becoming the first gay NFL player have now been placed on hold.
Sam is now free to sign with any NFL practice team.

Do the other NFL players go around yapping about their heterosexuality? Of course not.
I personally don't care how consenting adults conduct their sex lives. I do resent however having it rammed down my throat when I didn't ask about it.
So what is the issue here? His professional football ability or his homosexuality?. That is comparing apples to lemons. And could the NFL please put it on the table: is homosexuality moral? If not, why? If yes, why? And if it is good for the Sam file, should it not be good for everyone else—the owner, management, cheerleeders, and the entire organazition? Sorry, I was not suppose to ask that question. Quit beating around the bush NFL, ESPN, and everyone else. Oh boy, am I in trouble now.
John 8:32.
Interesting. I wonder if this is due to the NCAA/union decision.
Has President Obama officially expressed his outrage yet?
***Is he a split end? A wide receiver? Or a tight end??***
Reminds me of the scenes in THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP.
What happened, did he throw and catch the football like John Kerry?
Surprised the San Francisco 69’ers did not pick him up for bench stimulations.
“So what is the issue here? His professional football ability or his homosexuality?”
That is the point. He’s homosexual, what’s the big deal? Not like he’s the first man to have ever screwed another man in the ***. That’s been done before, we have proof of that in the Bible.
Anyone who watches the NFL does not care about the gay agenda they just want to see their team win, and maybe chug a few beers.
That is likely a part of the philosophy. The business model can easily change, as it did with the USFL, but if all goes to plan this would likely be a future option to players going to Canada (CFL) or perhaps not playing at all. From what I have read, the league is supposed to operate initially with just four teams.
Too much political baggage.
You really want me to respond to this?
The question is will Obama direct Eric Holder to sue the St. Louis Rams and force them to put Micheal Sam on the roster?
There’s always the Lingerie Football League.
The Rams simply “took one for the team (League)” when they drafted this not-ready-for-prime-time player. Simply to avoid anyone casting aspersions because he was not drafted.
There were about 400 players better than him in the draft and who knows how many veterans on waivers out there.
He was cut by the Rams too.
Really. Look it up.
I was thinking Obama wants to get him some of that.
