A Christian couple fined $13,000 for refusing to host a lesbian wedding on their New York farm has decided to close the venue rather than violate their religious beliefs.
Cynthia and Robert Gifford decided not to host ceremonies anymore, other than those already scheduled, Alliance Defending Freedom attorney James Trainor told The Blaze. ”Since the order essentially compelled them to do all ceremonies or none at all, they have chosen the latter in order to stay true to their religious convictions, even though it will likely hurt their business in the short run,” he said

The Constitution doesn't grant rights.
It grants limited and enumerated powers to the federal government.
Everything else is left to the States, or to the people.
Your drivers license and registration issue is a STATE police power, unaffected by the Constitution. Feds don't get a say in it.

It’s more than obvious the Giffords were targeted by the “couple” in question. As per the article, the Giffords were perfectly willing to have the reception at their place. They just wouldn’t host the actual “wedding” — in fact, they host only about 12 wedding ceremonies a year. I pray that their financial livlihood isn’t too badly affected by their standing up for their rights!

its not a constitutional right to marry, but it is a constitutional right for freedom of religion.
So when those liberals state it is not the Govt who should decide marriage, then all they do is let the constitutional right of freedom of religion be stripped away

Marriage is a age old tradition under common law that is a single man and single woman joining together to create a new family.

no more taxes, no more official business, just a couple of landowners offering their place up to those they can accommodate.
