After realizing that people thought Arby’s mainly served roast beef, the company made a poster showcasing a large stack of all the meats on the menu, which includes bacon and brisket, according to The Washington Post.
It worked.
“People started coming in and asking, ‘Can I have that?’” Arby’s vice president of brand and corporate communications Christopher Fuller said.
Arby’s decided to go with it, and the “Meat Mountain” was born. It will not be listed on the menu, but store associates will make it for the customers who request it. At $10, the sandwich includes (from the bottom up) two chicken tenders, 1.5 oz. of roast turkey, 1.5 oz. of ham, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 1.5 oz. of corned beef, 1.5 oz. of brisket, 1.5 oz. of Angus steak, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1.5 oz. roast beef and 3 half-strips of bacon all on a bun.
The sandwich doesn’t fit in the regular clamshell packaging, so if ordered, it comes wrapped in paper.
Even has bacon. Oooooohhhh...
I went to Subway and ordered a roast beef. They brought out their little prepackaged roast beef and put it on. Blindfolded I would not have been able to guess it was roast beef. I’ve never been back.
Stopped eating there when I found out the(former)President of Arby’s(Hala Moddelmog)was a big pro-abortion, dem contributor & Obamabot. Didn’t she also pull ads from Limbaugh’s show following the Sandra Slut circus?
Growing up i had a friend that worked at Arby’s and i basically lived on Beef and Cheddar sandwiches for 3 or 4 years.
That Arby’s is now loooong gone and there is none around anymore.
I understand that they are probably nasty and all but i have been craving a B&C for years now, with a little bit of that Arby’s sauce.
Maybe someday.......
