Most people will always say that a movie that has been redone never should have been redone (the older someone is, the more they are apt to feel that way too). There are probably a few movies of course that is as good as better than the original (like True Grit?). There are also a few movies that might be nice to see remade if the original has a nice concept but was horribly directed or some movies might serve better updated for the times. What movie(s) would you like to see redone?
I don’t want any movies redone, because I guarantee they will be all PC’ed up.
Just look what they did to “The Producers”.
NONE. Try doing something different for a change...........
“Deep Throat” starring Barack Obama
“Deep Throat starring Barack Obama”
And Valerie Jarrett
Just seems like Hollywood has become too lazy or too cheap to come up with an original idea.
World War Z. Because the novel deserves better than it got.
CAPTAIN FROM CASTILE. The Tyrone Power version ends before the conquest of Mexico, which is the whole point.
Idiocracy. They could splice together a bunch of news clippings.
“The Day The Earth Stood Still” only this time without an eco terrorist point of view. Stick to the original story line, add some terrorists with nuclear weapons, and use today’s special effects to make the movie as it should be made.
Inn of The Sixth Happiness was a superb movie!
But I really hope no one ever tries to remake it.
The movie of my life.
Did you read the book? The movie was very hokey. Someone asked if you could still take a guy seriously if he was over fifty and stilled called himself Sting.
The Day The Earth Stood Still
If they did the original “Farewell to the Master” by Harry Bates story without all the anti-nuke-test propaganda it would not be a remake, it would be a new movie.
“You do not understand, I am the master”.
I always loved Dana Carvey's take on him....
He called himself a verb, present tense. Hes not Stung. Hes not Stinging. Hes Sting.
snow white
I have always found it interesting that the same people that love the ewok’s hated jarjar
To me they are two sides of the same coin.
The Wizard of Oz was one of my first thoughts too, but then I figured I would be dissapointed in just about anyone else singing over the rainbow
Inn of The Sixth Happiness was a superb movie!

Exactly. My husband wanted to see what the big deal was with the Noah movie. I couldn’t believe what they did to the story. I had no words to express my unbelief in their destruction of Gods word. They don’t have a clue.
