The Wizard of Oz was one of my first thoughts too, but then I figured I would be dissapointed in just about anyone else singing over the rainbow
I would be happy if they did a decent Oz Prequel or Sequel that was a lot like the original in terror and scope. The Great and Powerful Oz just plain sucked.
Bad casting. Mila Kunis doesn’t work as the Wicked Witch and neither did James Franco as Oz.
It will be interesting to see how Into The Woods does. Might mean a decent fantasy musical like an Oz sequel could be done.
