Just asking. I am not sure if we can pick up the pieces and reconstitute a successful, prosperous country after the last 5+ years.

If there is no hope, where do you think we should all go?The ones who will work hard and recreate the USA as it was....... a prosperous, successful country, where everyone pulled his/her weight without Government interference. We could use our Constitution to form a more perfect Union again......this Admin isn't using the Constitution anyway......give it to us so we can start over.

Right after Obama was elected, a Czech journalist stated
“American can survive Obama but it may not survive the people who put him in office”
I was thinking he meant the world power brokers but I will include the Americans that voted for him also.
If you voted for Obama you are either ignorant or evil.

We’ve gotten to a place in this country when somebody as clearly incompetent as B. Hussein Obama can somehow be not merely elected but re-elected even when his failure was plain to see.
It’s the tipping point... It’s happened. When 51% of the population finds out that they can vote themselves goodies from the public treasury. When the takers outnumber the makers. It’s all over but the counting of the bodies.

It won't be easy, especially if he is followed by Elizabeth Warren or Hillary Clinton. I still run into women who say they will vote for a woman...because they are a woman, which is witless, but predictable.
If there was a physical piece of land where the people who believe in the worth of America could all gather, I think we could re-create what has been lost, but recovering that society in the middle of Ameritopia will be very difficult.

Sadly, I am afraid you’re right. We need a population who wants the American Dream........work hard and get ahead. That has been replaced by ‘I am going to get as much as I can from those who work hard.......why should I work......I deserve money from them.......they just oppress me and I deserve to be taken care of’. I understand the humorous reactions to the stupidity of “Man on the Street” type questions-answers that have become mainstream. But at the same time it is a serious reflection on where we are headed. I think it was O’Reilly’s show where he had a staffer head to a beach in New Jersey to ask basic questions such as “Who did we fight in the Civil War?” or “Who attacked Pearl Harbor...?” Laughing at responses to the former “China” or latter “Korea” is a recipe for doomsday.
